University Talent Filmmakers registered at any university of the 32 federal entities of the Mexican Republic may participate, proving their validity with an official ID from their home school. *Only one film material per person will be received, i.e., a person can register their material in only one category of the festival, regardless of the category.
CHARACTERSITICS OF THE FILM MATERIAL
Duration
Feature film not less than 70 minutes and not more than 120 minutes (with credits included) Short Documentary no less than 10 minutes and not more than 20 minutes (with credits included)
Short film not less than 2 minutes and not more than 15 minutes (with credits included)
Teasers, trailers and/or video clips will not participate.
Genre, Theme and Classification
Film material of any film genre will be admitted, including docu-fiction for the Short Documentary category and animation for any of the categories.
The theme is free nature.
Only A, AA, B and B15 rated material will be admitted.
No material containing political propaganda or political and social movements will be accepted.
Language And Subtitles
Material from any language or dialect will be admitted as long as english and spanish subtitles are provided in.
Subtitles must be sent together with the material in SRT or WebVTT format.
For material with audio in a foreign language (not spanish) subtitles in english and spanish are required. d. For material with spanish audio, english subtitles are required.
Cinema Format
Any cinematographic format can participate as long as it is larger than 1080p (Full HD).
Material recorded with professional and/or semi-professional cameras may participate.
Material made with smartphones will not be accepted.
Production Dates
Any material produced or completed after january 1 of 2024 may participate.
