Festival of sequence shot or continuous shot.

• Best Feature Film with a Sequence Shot: A work that, in the Jury's opinion, combines technical, artistic, and production aspects that ideally combine with the Sequence Shot(s) proposed within the narrative discourse. Award: Main Statuette of the Event.

• Best Student Short Film with a Sequence Shot: A work produced by students from any film and audiovisual media school, which, in the Jury's opinion, combines technical, artistic, and production aspects that ideally combine with the Sequence Shot. Award: Main Statuette of the Event.

• Best Professional Short Film with a Sequence Shot: A work that, in the Jury's opinion, combines technical, artistic, and production aspects that ideally combine with the Sequence Shot. Award: Main Event Statuette

• Special Mention "I Love Life, I Love Cinema": works whose content promotes the values ​​of friendship, love, family, and other similar themes. Award: Main Event Statuette.
Direction, Production, Photography, Camera, Script, Main Theme or Music (only original musical works will participate), Sound, Soundtrack, Colorization, Lead Actress, Lead Actor, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actor, Art Direction, Editing and Assembly, Trailers, Poster Design and number of views on the ECIMA YouTube channel during the festival days.

1. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST CAREFULLY READ THE RULES FOR THIS FESTIVAL. BY REGISTERING, THEY ARE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THEM. ANYTHING NOT PROVIDED FOR IN THE FOLLOWING RULES IS FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE FESTIVAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE.

2. Short films will be entered into the competition at the request of their producers, whether Venezuelan or foreign, who own the rights to the work.

3. By registering a work for participation in FESCISE, the organization is implicitly authorized to exhibit, promote, and disseminate it through any means it deems appropriate for the promotion of the Festival.

4. The deadline for receiving applications is March 31, 2026.

5. Works that do not meet all the requirements will NOT be accepted.

6. Short films must have a minimum duration of 5 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes (including credits), with a minimum of 4 minutes of continuous shots within the film. Feature films containing continuous shots within their narrative may also be submitted.

7. Works will not be accepted after the closing date of the call for submissions.
8. This edition will have 3 categories:

8a. Student (participation by students from any educational institution; they must present proof of enrollment and the film must be made with non-professional equipment)
8b. Professional (participation by professionals with at least one work completed at this level and with experience in the field from anywhere in the world)
8c. #FESCISEENCORTO (the only category for the creation of a 1-minute 30-second short film in a single take that promotes social values; it must be filmed with a cell phone. (Registration: $5))
8d. Feature Film (works that contain single takes within their narrative); these works will only be screened in theaters and spaces programmed by the festival.

9. Submissions will be made via wetranfer, email: festivaldesecuencias@gmail.com, to which the submitted work must be sent, along with the following documents:

9a. Proof of deposit or transfer of fifteen dollars ($15) at the BCV rate to Banco de Venezuela, Current Account No. 0102-0451-88-0000202303 in the name of Fund. ECIMA Oriente, Tax ID: J-40095272-7, email: ecimaorientevenezuela@gmail.com. If payment is via Paypal, please send it to yluhibeth@gmail.com (the participant cancels the commission)

9b. Copy of the ID of the producer or representative of the organization submitting the work. 9c. Trailer (minimum HD format,
maximum 30").
9d. Making of (minimum HD, maximum 30").

9e. Soundtrack (if original).

9f. Poster in PNG format, minimum 300 DPI

9h-. 2 Director's photographs, minimum 300 DPI

9i-. 5 Behind-the-scenes photographs, minimum 300 DPI

9j-. FORMAT: .mp4. CODEC: H264. RESOLUTION: 1920x1080. Total file size: 3.5 GB (maximum) for short films.

9k-. Regulations signed by the director of the work.

10-. The music or soundtrack of the work to compete in this category must be copyright-free. Originals may be used.

11-. All copies submitted to the festival for consideration will become part of the film archive of the Eastern School of Film and Audiovisual Media (ECIMA) and will be published on the festival's YouTube channel for a limited time. (IN THE CASE OF SHORT FILMS AND IF THEY ARE NOT UNDER A PRIOR CONTRACT THAT PREVENTS THIS ACTION)

12-. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to exclude from the Festival works whose content is discriminatory based on sexual, social, racial, religious, or other aspects, in order to promote inclusion.

13. Only one (01) work per Director/Participant will be admitted per category.

14. Institutional videos and works entered in previous editions of the Festival will not be accepted.

15. The competition will only accept works produced in the last two (02) years, prior to the current edition of the Festival.

16. The works in competition must be in Spanish or other languages, in which case they must be subtitled in Spanish.

17. The submitted works will be reviewed by a Pre-Selection Committee, which will determine which ones will be entered into the competition. The works will be published through the organization's various media outlets on May 31, 2026, so that each filmmaker can promote and disseminate their selection.

18. All submitted works will be reviewed by a Jury appointed by the Festival Organization, which will have the authority to select the nominated and winning works. Their decision will be final.

19. No member of the festival organization, i.e., a member of a festival committee, or a relative of a member of the judging panel will be permitted to participate.

20. prizes will be awarded to the selected works as follows:

•Best Feature Film with a Single Take: The film that, in the Jury's opinion, best combines technical, artistic, and production aspects that are ideally integrated with the single take(s) used in the narrative. Award: Main Statuette of the Event.

• Best Professional Short Film with a Single Take: The film that, in the Jury's opinion, best combines technical, artistic, and production aspects that are ideally integrated with the single take. Award: Main Statuette of the Event.
• Special Mention "I Love Life, I Love Cinema": Works whose content promotes the values ​​of friendship, love, family, among other similar values. Award: Main Statuette of the Event.

Other awards to be presented in the professional short film and feature film categories:

Student Short Film Category:

Direction, Production, Photography, Camera, Screenplay, Lead Actor and Actress, Poster Design, and number of views on the ECIMA YouTube channel during the festival. June 1-5, 2026.

21. The nominees will be informed by the organizing committee on Friday, June 5th and will be able to attend the Awards Gala with family and friends (the number will be announced that day). The gala will take place in a private space on Saturday, June 6th at 6:00 pm at the Hotel Luciano Jr. Pool Area.

22. If a work is chosen as the winner, the statuette will be sent by a courier company, in agreement with the winner.

23. The works awarded by the jury will include in the opening or closing credits a reference to the prize or special mention received from the Festival, as well as the poster for the award.

24. The organizing committee may take any other considerations into account as long as they do not affect the results of the Festival.



  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
