The 4nd Garopaba International Environmental Film Festival aims to promote socio-environmental cinema in one of the most beautiful regions of Brazil.

The Festival is based on the diversity of themes, film formats, team, in the search to embrace the diversity of socio-environmental cinema produced in Brazil and in the world. The comprehensive curatorship will denote an equally comprehensive program, with specialists from the most diverse areas of knowledge to promote exchanges during the event and that translate into interventions in reality.

The Garopaba International Environmental Film Festival does not distribute prizes.

Registration for the 4nd Garopaba International Environmental Film Festival implies:

- In the authorization, if the film is selected, of broadcasting, for exclusive purposes of publicizing the event, trailer, excerpts of up to one minute and still images of the work.

- In the authorization, if the film is selected, to the free screening of the film during the Festival period, in Tours and educational activities of the event, for a period of one year after the Festival (NOvember 2025 to November 2026).

- The authorization to display the work is valid only for the face-to-face format.

SELECTION
All films that complete the application and meet the prerequisites described here will be analyzed by the festival's selection committee. The selection criteria will be based on the artistic and technical qualities and the thematic relevance of the work. The choice of the selection committee is sovereign, not subject to appeal.

The Official Selection of films that will be part of the FICA Garopaba program will be announced on the Festival's official website and all those responsible for registration will be notified via email.
