X Festival Internacional De Cortometrages De Pineda De Mar (10)

The Festival is organized by the CinemArt Association of Pineda de Mar, it is an International festival with the objective of promoting a specific space for the discovery, screening and dissemination of short films.

The main thematic axis of the festival is comedy; However, the theme and genre of the productions is free. Quality and originality will be prioritized as the main objective, and that the production be unprecedented.

The 10th Pineda de Mar International Short Film Festival will be held from September 23 to September 28, 2024.

The program of the 2024 Pineda de Mar International Short Film Festival. It will integrate different activities focused on publicizing the selected short films and promoting different aspects of the world of cinema in Pineda de Mar, with the collaboration of the Pineda de Mar City Council and entities local.

The closing ceremony and awards ceremony of the Festival will take place on September 28, 2024 at the Pineda de Mar Auditorium.

Cash Prizes: 1,500€

- "VILLA DE PINEDA" for the best short film 600 €.
- "JOSEP MARTÍN" to the best comediat 300 €
- "BEST SHORT FILM IN CATALAN" 300 €
- "OF THE PUBLIC" 300 €
- "BEST ACTOR/ACTRESS" (without financial endowment)

- Any person or legal entity can participate, individually or collectively, without age limit, and it can be done with any of the following formats: HD, Full HD and 4K. (mpg, mp4, …)

- Productions must have been made after January 1, 2023.

- They can be made in any language, but necessarily subtitled in Spanish or Catalan.

- Short films in Spanish or Catalan must be subtitled in English.

- The duration of the short films will be less than 30 min. Credits included.

The registration and reception period for productions begins on December 1, 2023.

The deadline for registration and receipt of productions ends on March 31, 2024.

Works of an advertising or tourist nature will not be admitted, nor those that use non-original material in more than 10% of the entire work. Works that do not have the necessary technical quality for correct visualization will also not be accepted.
Authors must ensure that the content of their work does not infringe intellectual property rights, image rights or other rights of third parties, exonerating the Organizing Committee from any legal responsibility.

The selected productions will be screened publicly during the days of the Festival, with the understanding that their authors or production companies authorize the screening. In no case is the payment of screening fees contemplated. Admission to the screenings in the Auditorium by the Festival is completely free.
