Fotofilm Internatıonal Short Film Festival is an innovative concept that aims to shine a spotlight on new generation world-language filmmakers and to give internet users across the globe the chance to share their enthusiasm for world cinema.

Our mission is to promote films, and be another step up in the filmmakers' careers.

Fotofilm International Short Film Festival is a festival open to filmmakers and film lovers. Is festival of world cinematography, where short films, videoclips, webseries and video arts from all over the world come together to compete for the various prizes of the festival.

a) It will be 5 nominations for films in each category of the genres (Short, Drama, animation, documentary, )
b) It will be 3 nominations for films in each category of the genres ( LGBT, comedy, experimental, science fiction, etc.) as well as for video clip, video art, web series.

There will also be nominations and prizes for the art of the posters of the films (5 short film and web series).

The competition category will not be opened when there are not enough applications or films that can compete.

Extra prizes: New prizes can be created, given to the decision of the jury evaluator or at the request of the viewing public in their comments.

Honorable Mentions

A.- It is a festival where the finalist and special films will be shown.

B.- Of any length, half-lenght films, short films, web series, video clips, video arts, among others. According to the length is considered:

Super short: under to four minutes

Short film: from 4 to 40 minutes.

Web Series: under 30 minutes

Video clip: under to 20 minutes.

Video art: under to 20 minutes.

Short film script: maximum 45 pages

C.- Any kind of gender, without any discrimination Genres accepted

D.- Preferably in its original language. All films must be subtitled in English preferably.

E.- Films presented must have been produced after 2010. Previous productions can be recorded as Classic Films.

F.- The filmmakers can enter the a year as many movies as they want. The film can be re-submitted later, only if it does not get a prize.

Note the following when submitting your movie:

- You agree to use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film poster/stills) for promotional purpose.

- Entry fees are non-refundable.

- Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be entered in multiple categories.

- The films must include English subtitles (unless the spoken language is English)
- The scripts must be in English

We do not accept:

1. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations

2. Films involving politics / films promoting political agenda

3. Movies with poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles for non-English movies / Video resolution less than 720p HD
