The International Short Film Competition will be held for two days within the framework of Horrorcon Spain. This contest seeks to highlight the best works of the genre and provide a platform to emerging and established filmmakers.

Three trophies will be awarded:

- "Golden Scythe" award for best short film
- Second prize (Silver Scythe)
- Third prize (Bronze scythe)

Date and Time:
Saturday: Selection of the 13 short finalists.
Hours: From 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sunday: Screening of the finalists and awards ceremony.
Hours: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Recommendations:
Limited capacity. It is recommended to arrive early to ensure your entry.

Registration and Fees:
Price: The price for registration of the short film will be 2 euros through Festhome.

How long should the short film be?

Short films must be no more than 15 minutes long, including credits.

Are there any specific technical requirements?

Short films must be submitted in digital format, in 1080 resolution.

Can short films that have already been presented at other festivals participate?

Yes, short films that have participated in other festivals are accepted as long as they meet the duration and format requirements.


  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
