Festival start: 20 July 2024      Festival end: 20 July 2024

In A Minute Film Festival focuses on showcasing one minute films. We are located in a suburb of New York City (NYC), for easy access by all. All Genres are accepted, but the time limit is set. 1-minute. At the festival we nurture networking and audience encouragement of the hard work everyone has put in.

The In A Minute Film Festival was created to offer filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their ability to tell concise short stories in a 1-minute film, with the audience and support of fellow filmmakers.

The live screenings of the top films are concluded with a Q&A, so filmmakers can take pride in their work and meet like-minded filmmakers. We also will have an online edition with films, to be able to reach an international audience.

A Best Film is selected and will receive either a trophy (if at the festival) or a certificate (if not at the festival)

1. IAMFF competition categories are open to the United States and International entries.

2. Films in the minute category and trailer category can not exceed 1 minute, or 60 seconds, including opening and closing credits.

3. Films in the 2 minute category can not exceed 2 minutes, or 120 seconds, including opening and closing credits.

4. Screenplays should be 1 page or equivalent to 1 minute of film if they were shot.

5. Films must submit preview screeners via online with or without a password.

6. Foreign language entries must have English language subtitles.

7. Entries must have been completed in the past 2 years.

8. Applicants may submit as many entries as they wish, as long as each entry has a separate entry form and fee.

9. IAMFF has the right to screen any film or projects submitted to the IN A MINUTE FILM FESTIVAL.

10. In order to receive your trophy or certificate, the project's producer or director must be present.

11. If officially selected, it is the responsibility of the submitter to send the festival their film for digital download. Most formats are acceptable.

12. IAMFF has the right to post clips or still images of selected films to our website or use for promotional purposes, unless the filmmaker notifies us in writing that they don't want it posted.

13. All decisions made by the festival are final and at their discretion.
