SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN FOR THE FOLLOWING SESSIONS OF THE OFFICIAL PROGRAM:

01 - Short, Medium and Feature Film
02 - Short, Medium and Feature Television Work
03 - Series TV Show - Pilot Episode or First Episode
04 - Internet Work - Short, Medium and Feature Film
05 - Internet Work - Pilot Episode or First Episode

Selected films will be judged by the Official Jury, which will reward the films with the Golden Owl in categories: Best Film, Director, Diretor of Photography, Art, Editing, Music, Script, Actor, Actress. The films will also be awarded with the Public Award and the Especial Critics Award.

01- Only films finished after January 2018 will be accepted;

02- Brazilian movies will be accepted even if they may have been screened in other Brazilian festivals;

03- Films need to be submitted in their original version;

04- Films in languages other than Portuguese must be subtitled or dubbed in Portuguese or English;

05- Late submission or film materials will not be accepted;

06- All submitted material for selection will not be returned;

07- In order to protect the interests of the filmmakers and the producers, all films submitted will be archived in the reference collections of FILMOTECA CINERAMABC for the sole purpose of onsite documentation and research, excluding any loan;

08- Selected films will be announced in the www.festivalbc.com;

09- All material of selected films will be used for promotional purpose (TV, site,
others);

10- Programming is at the sole discretion of the curatorship of each festival section and their decision is final and irrevocable;

11- Each film may be screened during the festival according to grade definition and for festival itinerancy;

12- Films selected as première should preserve its status until official presentations at the festival;

13- No film selected may be withdrawn from the festival program after it's confirmation;

14- The responsible for submission must provide the dialog list in srt. and/or tradition to Portuguese to the festival when asked for;

15- The festival will not confirm receipt of any application forms or material. Please do not send emails asking this confirmation;

16- Participation in the festival requires the unconditional adherence to it's regulations as set out here;

17- The festival only accepts projects that are in accordance with this regulations;

18- The submission to the festival confirms the agreement with all rules and conditions of the present regulation.
