Presentation

The Social Film Festival organized by Luminiscence Studio since 2013 has no competitive character, our intention is to screen projects with a clear social commitment, bringing the works presented to the public closer so that a link can be created between filmmakers, the public and organizers.

1st – The screening event will take place from November 7, 2025, to March 15, 2026. It will begin with an inaugural screening in the city of Alicante, followed by a tour of high schools and cultural centers throughout the province.

2nd – Films must not exceed 20 minutes in length and must have been completed after November 1, 2023. Filmmakers from anywhere in the world are welcome to participate.

3rd – Each filmmaker may submit a maximum of two works, provided they meet all the requirements set out in these rules.

4th – Films in Valencian or Spanish will be accepted. Works in any other language must include subtitles in either of the two accepted languages.

5th – The submission period opens on July 2, 2025, and the deadline for receiving entries is October 1, 2025.

6th – Works must be submitted through this platform for consideration. Direct or private submissions will not be accepted.

7th – Participation in the screening implies that filmmakers grant the rights to use images from their films for projection during the event, as well as for the creation of promotional materials such as posters or other publicity within the scope of the event. Any other use will require the express authorization of the author.

8th – Films will be selected by the organizing committee, which will determine the screening dates and order. The committee guarantees that the films will only be shown within the context of the screening event. Submitting a film implies acceptance of these rules.
