Presentation

The Social Film Festival organized by Luminiscence Studio since 2013 has no competitive character, our intention is to screen projects with a clear social commitment, bringing the works presented to the public closer so that a link can be created between filmmakers, the public and organizers.

1st - The exhibition will take place from November 7, 2024, to March 15, 2025. It will consist of an opening projection in the city of Alicante, followed by a tour of high schools and cultural centers in the province.

2nd - The duration of the works must not exceed 20 minutes, and their production must be after November 1, 2022. Filmmakers from anywhere in the world may participate.

3rd - Filmmakers may submit a maximum of two works, provided they meet the requirements established in these rules.

4th - Works in Valencian or Spanish will be accepted. Those presented in another language must be submitted with subtitles in either of the two languages accepted by the exhibition.

5th - The registration period begins on May 10, 2024, and the deadline for receiving works is September 15, 2024.

6th - Works may be submitted through this platform for selection. Individual registrations will not be accepted.

7th - Participation in this exhibition will involve the transfer of broadcasting rights for the images submitted by the filmmakers, for use in the exhibition's projection and for the production of posters and promotion of the event within the scope of the competition. For any other use, express authorization from the author will be required.

8th - The works will be selected by the organizing committee of the exhibition, which will determine the date and order of projection, committing to exhibit them only within the scope of the exhibition. Registration in the exhibition implies acceptance of these rules.
