NextFrame Awards is an independent international short film showcase dedicated to discovering and highlighting emerging filmmakers from around the world.
We exist to give visibility to creative voices that often go unnoticed within traditional industry structures, especially young filmmakers and independent creators working outside of established production systems.
We believe cinema should not be limited by access, budget, or industry connections. Instead, it should be defined by storytelling, emotion, and creative vision.
NextFrame Awards aims to provide a curated space where new and underrepresented voices can be seen, appreciated, and shared. Selected works are reviewed by a small jury of filmmakers, with additional community feedback considered in specific cases.
At its core, NextFrame Awards is about visibility, discovery, and opportunity. A place where new filmmakers can be seen for what they create, not for what they have access to.
Cinema is not defined by the frame you start with, but by what you choose to put inside it.

NextFrame Awards does not offer monetary prizes.
Instead, selected films receive recognition,
visibility, and promotion across our official platforms, including a curated showcase on our YouTube channel and featured promotion on social media.
