Début du Festival: 18 février 2026      Fin du Festival: 18 février 2026

¡Hola! We are SEVIFF • Sevilla Indie Film Festival, an international independent film festival in the city of Seville in Spain, and member of the IBERIFF • Iberia Indie Film Festivals, which celebrates and showcases new productions and independent artists from all over the world in Madrid (MADRIFF), Barcelona (BARCIFF), València (VALÈIFF), Seville (SEVIFF), Lisbon (LISBIFF) and Montpellier (MONTIFF), that you can also find them here, in Festhome!

SEVIFF shares the mission of their associate festivals of supporting emerging talents, encouraging artistic exploration, fostering networking, promoting cultural exchange and engaging the local community by providing a platform to present the work of independent filmmakers.

Fiction films, animation, documentary and experimental of any genre and subject are welcome!

Official Selection • Awards

In the last week of January, the jury will select the winners of each category, as well as silver award, bronze award and any honourable mentions;

All the winning films in the main categories of Supershort, Short, Short Animation, Short Documentary, Featurette, Feature Film, Feature Documentary, and Music Video will receive the SEVIFF trophy; the winners of the secondary categories, as well as the SILVER, BRONZE and HONOURABLE MENTIONS, will receive the SEVIFF-IBERIFF certificate.

Below, you’ll see the rules and terms that you accept when submitting films, videos and other materials to our festival.

Submission

1.1 SEVIFF accepts both Spanish and foreign films with Spanish or english subtitles, or without subtitles if the language of the film is Castilian Spanish or english.

1.2 Registration fees must be paid through our submission platforms at the time of submission, and they are non-refundable.

1.3 Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted. An entry fee (available on the platforms) must accompany each film submission.

1.4 Films can be entered more than once, provided they have not been selected previously.

1.5 A film submitted to SEVIFF only competes in SEVIFF. If you wish to compete in MADRIFF, BARCIFF, VALÈIFF, LISBIFF, or MONTIFF, you must visit their respective pages on the submission platforms and submit an entry there, as the festivals have independent selection processes and do not share the same jury.

1.6 Films must be submitted through our registration platforms and made available for viewing through these platforms. Postal submissions are not accepted.

1.7 We accept works from any country in the world, produced on or after 1 January 2023.

1.8 SEVIFF does not provide exemptions, waiver codes, or free registrations.
