The Sex Education Film Festival (SEFF) is the first international short film festival on sexual education and health. The festival presents a selection of documentaries and short films from around the world that address topics related to sexual diversity, consent, STI prevention, gender identity, gender equality, healthy relationships, among others.
The festival was created with the aim of promoting awareness and understanding of sexual education through cinema. SEFF also organizes talks, debates, and other parallel activities to encourage reflection and dialogue on these topics.
The festival is an important platform for filmmakers who wish to address issues related to sexuality and sexual health, and for the general public who want to learn and connect with others who share the same interests and concerns.
The Sex Education Film Festival is committed to education for all ages and has two well-differentiated sections: Teens and Adults.

SEFF TOUR
What is the SEFF Tour?
Due to the high demand we have for the festival, and because we cannot meet this demand due to location and time limitations, this year we have decided to initiate an educational activity of the Sex Education Film Festival that we will bring to those municipalities and locations that send us a request and our team deems suitable to meet the qualitative requirements that SEFF demands.
The SEFF Tour consists of an educational activity in which a series of short films that were previously part of the official selection of some of the SEFF editions and that we consider to have a powerful educational message are screened. This is followed by a session of debate and dialogue with a sexual education professional where the topics projected in the short films are discussed, allowing the audience to reflect and resolve any doubts or questions.
How does the SEFF Tour work?
The team in charge of the SEFF Tour will select the short films and communicate via email with the producers and directors of the selected short films.
We offer a commission of €20 per session (a session is equivalent to a single SEFF Tour activity in a specific location or municipality).
At the end of the year, the total amount of money will be paid according to the number of SEFF Tour sessions in which the short films have participated.
Once the official selection is made, we will send an email with all the information and, once participation in the SEFF Tour is accepted, an agreement will be signed for a duration of one year.
SUBMISSION AND SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
Films must be submitted online via the platforms: Festhome. You can also submit your films via Wetransfer to the email of SEX EDUCATION FILM FESTIVAL: info@sexeducationfestival.com

The organization reserves the right to recode the original films in order to adapt them to the requirements of the screening, keeping its quality as far as possible.
The organization reserves the right to solve any issue not foreseen in these rules. In the event of a disagreement in the interpretation of the Rules for Participation of the SEX EDUCATION FILM FESTIVAL, the organization will resolve within a week’s time about the issues brought up by the participants, being the organization’s decision totally binding.
