Festival start: 29 June 2024      Festival end: 29 June 2024

Ti-Kreyollywood is a quarterly event dedicated to short films, held before and after the Kréyol International Film Festival (KIFF) to which it is affiliated. The aim is to provide a second chance for short films that were not selected for KIFF and to offer a new opportunity for older productions that deserve to be seen in this context.

Please note that if your film is produced after January 1, 2019, you will participate in the Kreyol International Film Festival (KIFF2024), which will take place from September 26 to 30, 2024, in Paris.

Audience award

The Non profit organisation Les Ponts de l'Espoir (Hope & Bridges) is delighted to announce the call for films for the Ti-Kreyollywood meetings, which will take place at the end of each quarter in Paris.

Who can participate?

We aim to highlight the cultures, histories, philosophies, and environments of the Creole worlds.

Ti-Kreyollywood is open to all filmmakers, regardless of origin or nationality, whether they speak Creole or not. Your film is welcome if it explores, either directly or metaphorically, themes related to Creole worlds and reflects the authenticity and depth of these cultures. Whether you are an established or emerging filmmaker, we invite you to share your vision and voice through your art.

Filming locations and perspectives?

We enthusiastically welcome films shot in any region of the world, but special attention will be given to works produced and shot in Creole-speaking regions such as Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Réunion, Louisiana, and others.

Whether your films are rooted in traditional narratives or explore contemporary or dystopian perspectives, your contribution is essential to enriching the dialogue and understanding around Creole cultures.

Diversity of characters?

We also encourage the participation of films whose main and secondary characters are of Creole origin, thus highlighting the diversity of these communities.

A stage for Creole voices and beyond

Special attention will be given to films in the original Creole language – subtitled – but this is by no means an exclusive condition.

All languages are welcome.

Why participate?

Ti-Kreyollywood is an exceptional platform to showcase your work, network with film professionals from around the world, and participate in an event that celebrates cultural diversity and richness. It is a unique opportunity to shine a light on your creation and contribute to a better understanding and appreciation of Creole cultures.

We seek works that challenge, educate, and inspire, while celebrating the universality of Creole expression. We eagerly await the discovery of your films!

Submit your films and become an integral part of this unique cinematic adventure!
Use #tikreyollywood to communicate on your networks.
