The 26th International Festival "Corti da Sogni - Antonio Ricci" is organized by Circolo del Cinema Sogni – Antonio Ricci APS (hereafter referred to as Circolo Sogni), in partnership with the Municipality of Ravenna / Department of Culture and in collaboration with UICC, the company Cinemaincentro, and the cultural association Solaris.

Sections and Awards
- SOGNI D'ORO: international section reserved for non-European fiction short films (prize and award of 400 euros);
- EUROPEAN SOGNI AWARD: section reserved for European fiction (no Italy) short films (prize and award of 400 euros).
- MADE IN ITALY: section reserved for Italian fiction short films (prize and award of 400 euros).
- GIUSEPPE MAESTRI AWARD: section reserved for animated short films (prize and award of 400 euros).
- IVANO MARESCOTTI AWARD: best interpretation, identified among the actors and actresses of the Italian shorts in competition at the Corti da Sogni festival. The Award pays tribute to Ivano Marescotti and his extraordinary career in cinema and theater (prize and award of 400 euros).
- FILM SCHOOL AWARD: category reserved for short films produced by Film Schools (prize and award of 300 euros). The winner will be decided by a jury of high school students.
- MITICI CRITICI: category reserved for short films that for sensitivity and theme are in-dicated for younger viewers (award plaque). The winner will be decided by a jury composed of middle school students.
- GREEN PLANET: the festival will award a special prize to the works, most deserving in terms of environmental issues and sensitivities (prize and award of 300 euros) In addition to the prize, the section will involve the schools of the Ravenna area that will assign the special mention GREEN SCHOOL
The Festival Committee and the jury may assign some special mentions.
1. Conditions of Participation
Short films produced after January 1, 2023, are eligible for the selection.
Short films already submitted in previous editions cannot be re-submitted, even if in a new version.
The duration of the short films must not exceed 30 minutes.
The competition is open to short films shot in any format and from any country. Documentaries, industrial, advertising, and propaganda films are not accepted.
Short films in a language other than Italian must be subtitled in Italian or English.
2. Registration and Selection
Registration can be made through the FestHome platform.
The deadline for registration is January 21, 2025.
The registration fees are as follows:
Earlybird deadline: until November 15, 2024 (€8.5/film)
Regular deadline: until December 15, 2024 (€11.5/film)
Final deadline: until January 21, 2025 (€14.5/film)
The registration must be accompanied by:
- A synopsis of the plot (format: doc or compatible);
- At least one photo of the short film and one photo of the poster, both in JPEG format;
- A photo of the director in JPG or compatible format;
- The biography of the director(s) (doc or compatible format);
- Subtitle files (preferably in SRT format) or a dialogue list with timecodes;
- The dialogue list with timecodes for short films from Italy as well;
- Upload of the short film (preferably without embedded subtitles).
Each short film entered and selected for the competition cannot be withdrawn from the selection itself. If this happens, the Festival Management reserves the right to take legal action to obtain compensation for any damages.
The selected shorts will be announced on March 21, 2025 on the website www.cinesogni.it
3 Authorization to process data by participating in the competition, the author authorizes the processing of personal data contained in the shorts and complementary material.
4. Television broadcasting and internet
By participating in the competition, the author authorizes the Circolo Sogni, free of charge, to re-produce and disseminate on television and websites, extracts of the short films selected for the Festival. These extracts are limited to 10% of the total duration of each short film and in any case may not exceed three minutes. They can only be used in interviews and / or promotional or adver-tising announcements of the Festival for the current or future editions, for the duration of one year from the registration of the short film on https://festhome.com.
5. Archiving and Authorization of screenings for cultural purposes
By participating in the competition, the author authorizes the archiving of the short films entered in the selection at the headquarters of the Circolo Sogni, and the screening (for a maximum time of 300 days from the start date of the festival) of the same for all screenings, events and broad-casts promoted by the same, for cultural and non-commercial purposes (unless otherwise indicat-ed at the time of registration).
6. Warranties
By registering the short film, the Circolo Sogni is guaranteed that all the rights and authorizations necessary for the participation of the short film in the sections in competition are held or have been acquired, as well as for the uses granted to the Circolo Sogni by virtue of this regulation.
7. Unforeseen cases and disputes
Registration and participation in the Competition implies unreserved acceptance of these regula-tions. The Circolo Sogni reserves the right to cancel the registration and take any other measure in case of non-compliance with the regulations. For any exception not covered by the aforemen-tioned regulation, the Circolo Sogni reserves the right to make final decisions.
