The YAGI MEDIA SHORTS AWARDS is organized by the independent film production and distribution company "YAGI MEDIA," founded in 2023 by Benedetta Scagnelli and Alessio Pasqua.

The Festival aims to be a showcase for films of social and cultural interest, both within and outside the independent film industry. An ideal venue for lively discussions between producers, authors, and distributors, as well as between the production community and the target audience, the Festival promotes the awareness and dissemination of works of high artistic value, capable of contributing to cultural growth and the formation of a mature critical consciousness among young people.

- BEST ITALIAN SHORT FILM

Films produced in Italy or by Italian directors are eligible, and must not exceed 30 minutes in length, including credits.

All genres are eligible. All works that have been shown online are eligible.

Films produced after 2024 are eligible.


- BEST INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM

Films from around the world are eligible, no longer than 30 minutes, including credits.

All genres are eligible. All works that have been shown online are eligible.

Films produced since 2024 are eligible.


- BEST SHORT FILM SCREENPLAY

Screenplays from around the world are accepted, written in English or Italian.

Scripts must be less than 25 pages. Only PDF files are accepted. By submitting a screenplay to this contest, the submitter declares that they are the sole owner of the rights to the submitted screenplay.

Any genre is accepted.
