MOVIEARTICLES.COM announces the International Short Film Award, aimed at promoting and supporting emerging producers in the audiovisual production sector through new technologies. The competition will be governed by the following rules:

1. All Filmmakers more than 18 years old are eligible to participate.

2. Works must have been produced between January 1, 2025, and July 21, 2026.

3. The call for entries will remain open until June 21, 2026, inclusive. Original short films must be submitted to the Festhome website using the entry form.

4. Video or animation works must be created in digital format. The final file size must not exceed 900 MB, with a window width of 1920x1080 px (FHD) and the following technical specifications: MP4 format, 16:9 aspect ratio, H264 (AVC) video codec, AAC audio codec, 4000 kbps video bitrate, and 192 kbps audio bitrate.

7. Short films must not exceed four minutes in length (including opening and closing titles).

8. A maximum of two short films per participant will be accepted. Submissions must be original and on any theme. The competition reserves the right to reject any short films that do not meet all the requirements.

9. Audiovisual recordings whose content is (directly or indirectly) advertising, promotional, telesales, or any other type of commercial activity related to a specific product or brand will not be accepted.
10. Each short film must be registered in the name of the producer listed on the registration form. This producer must guarantee in the entry form that they hold all necessary intellectual property and image rights to the submitted work and agrees to indemnify the competition organizers against any related claims.

11. All accepted entries will be available to view on the competition website.

12. Participants grant the competition organizers the right to display the submitted images on the MOVIEARTICLES.COM website, without prior notice or compensation, for any commercial exploitation.

14. A jury composed of film experts and renowned directors/actors from the film industry will select the winning entry. The decision will be announced at a special gala in Spain.

15. The prize consists of €100 (taxes included), which the winner agrees to reinvest in a film production to be screened the following year at MOVIEARTICLES.COM

15. If the prize winner does not reinvest the awarded funds in a new film production or does not present it within one year, they must return the money, unless they were unable to do so due to a justified force majeure event, which could lead to a temporary extension determined by MOVIEARTICLES.COM.

16. Participants agree that, in all broadcasts, screenings, and promotional activities for their short films following the competition results, the award received will be mentioned, along with the name of the competition.

17. All information provided by participants during this competition is confidential and may not be disclosed to third parties or used for purposes other than the management of the competition, except
as provided by law.

18. The relationship established by submitting the audiovisual recording does not create any type of associative, contractual, or commercial relationship between the owner and the contest organizers.

19. The contest organizers are authorized to unilaterally resolve any problem or doubt that may arise during the contest, always acting in the best interests of the contest. Their decisions in this regard are free and final.

20. In the event of a claim or dispute, both participants and the organizers must submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Madrid (SPAIN).
