The Kiwi International Film Festival (KIFF) is an online film festival designed to judge independent films from around the world, made by new and experienced filmmakers.

KIFF seeks films with a unique voice and message, regardless of how low the budget might be.

Filmmakers will also compete for the prestigious GOLDEN KIWI trophy, awarded to outstanding achievement in each main category.

Aiming to inspire, motivate and award talented filmmakers from around the world.
The Kiwi International Film Festival accepts all forms and genres: short films, feature films, drama, experimental, comedy, horror, sci fi, fantasy, animation and documentary.

The 2015 selection will be announced December 2015

Awards & Prizes
The Kiwi International Film Festival will award the very best films. Each film we designate as an "Official Selection" will receive an image of our festival ‘silver frond’ laurels to be used for marketing and promotional materials as the filmmaker sees fit. Out of the official selections, a jury will select one winner in each category (Narrative feature, Documentary feature, Narrative short, Documentary, etc) The winning filmmakers will receive an image of our festival ‘gold frond’ laurels with the "WINNER" label to be used as the filmmaker sees fit for marketing and promotional purposes.

PRIZES:
The ‘GOLDEN KIWI’ trophy prize awarded to outstanding achievement in each main category.

The Kiwi International Film Festival accepts all forms and genres produced after January 2012.

Short films must be under 44 minutes and features should be 45 mins and over. We accept all genres, in any language, from all countries.

Films must be submitted via online screener to FestHome. All non-English language films must be subtitled in English. Entry does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. Submissions WILL NOT be returned.

We also accept submissions that have premièred elsewhere and that may have distribution agreements already in place.

Multiple entries are allowed, however a separate entry form must be submitted for each film.

KIFF does not download your film or make it available online. We treat all submissions with utmost care and confidentiality.

ENTRY LIABILITY
The filmmaker holds the Kiwi International Film Festival, its management, juries, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and etc. harmless from any and all claims of liability resulting from entry. The filmmaker certifies to have full rights. Producer will indemnify the organisers of the Festival against all claims, demands, costs, damages, expenses (including legal fees), proceedings and losses resulting from the screening of the film at the Festival or from claims by any third parties. KIFF reserves the right to refuse entries and alter competition dates due to unforeseen circumstances.










  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
