Hysterical Film Fest is an online exhibition, a cinematographic movement that collects excellent audiovisual projects, like short films, feature films and video clips.

Our goal is to contribute the national and international industry in the development of young filmmakers and make visible those films that, for some reason, have not been given the chance of projection, therefore, if a project is not selected, its entry will be free.

We invite professionals, graduates and students to send their projects and be part of this exhibition where they can enjoy master classes and talks with those selected.

A) Short films:
With free topic and less than 30 minutes.

1. The Hysterical Film Fest is an international online exhibition, which collects video clips, short films and feature films

2. Projects must be sent through Festhome, directors and producers may send more than 1 work, without any limit.

3. In case of being selected, no project can be withdrawn, however, the festival can disqualify a project for non-compliance with rules.

4. Awards:

A) Short films:
With free topic and less than 30 minutes.

5- The winning works will be physically screened and are automatically selected for the 2023 annual gala.

6- The festival can make use of the works for its promotion, as well to invite the filmmakers for master classes, other shows and festivals in Mexico.

7- At the time you submit your project to Hysterical Film Fest, you agree to share the exhibition rights for the period in which the festival is active. Your work will be exhibited online through Vimeo On Demand, replicated on our website, and the winners selected for our annual gala will be notified.

8- The decision of winners and the official selection will be final and cannot be challenged.

9- The registration fee for short films will be US$25, for feature films US$30 and for video clips US$10 students and nationals will have a 10% discount.

10- The first session 2023 will take place from October 15 to November 15, 2022.
