Weekend of Fear is a film festival devoted to horror, scifi, fantasy, high-octane action and thrillers. The festival is located in Erlangen, Germany. Each year the festival features an average of 15-20 brand new films.
Golden Glibb - audience award for the best film of the festival.
Silver Glibb - audience award for second best film of the festival.
By submitting a film to Weekend Of Fear the submitter agrees to the following rules:
1.) The festival will only consider films which are german premier screenings.
2.) The festival will only accept 1 entry per filmmaker! Multiple entires will be deleted!
3.) Entries which do not meet the festivals criteria (horror, scifi, fantasy, action, thriller) will be disqualified.
4.) If an entry has not been selected it can not be re-entered the following year.
5.) Once an entry has been selected and notified it is not possible to withdraw it.
6.) Once an entry has been selected the respective filmmaker is asked to provide an exhibition copy of the selected film within 15 business days after notification.
7.) Exhibition copies must either contain english or german dialog tracks OR english or german subtitles.
8.) Prefered file formats of exhibition copies: .mp4, .mkv, .mov in full HD or 2K resolution.
9.) The festival does not pay screening fees!
10.) Directors and/or producers of films selected for the festival are invited to attend the festival. The festival will arrange accommodation, however, the festival will not cover travel expenses of any kind.
