1. FROM THE MOVIES
They are eligible to participate in the traveling cinematographic exhibitions of the Kurta na Kombi project: Itinerância O Cinema é Rio, which will take place in person in schools and public spaces in the cities of Cerro Corá, São Tomé, São Paulo do Potengi, Macaíba, São Gonçalo do Amarante and Natal , in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, between the months of August and September 2024, films falling within the following rules:
1.1. Films produced in Brazil, whose directors have Brazilian nationality or are naturalized.
1.2. Films with socio-environmental content, which may present one or more of the following themes: climate change; logging; preservation of rivers, seas and forests; soil conservation; environmental education; biodiversity; waste pickers and collectors of recyclable material; indigenous peoples, traditional communities and quilombolas in their relationship with the environment; food, socio-environmental and climate justice; sustainable rural and urban development.
1.3. Films in short film format, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes (plus credits).
1.4. Films of different genres: fiction, documentary, animation and experimental.
1.5. Films completed between January 2020 and January 2024.
NOTE: Institutional and advertising productions will not be accepted.
