The Enfoque Diverso collective welcomes you to the second version of the Diverse Film Festival. This festival aims to celebrate the multiplicity of experiences and perspectives that enrich our society around the LGBTQ+ population.

In this inclusive space, we are pleased to provide a platform to share a wide range of voices and narratives that reflect the complexity of the human condition in all its manifestations. Each short film presented at our festival offers an opportunity to explore, learn and connect with stories that challenge social conventions, promote empathy and advocate for equality.

Prix ​​en espèces: 735€

During the awards ceremony of the II Diverse Film Festival, the three short films that have stood out for their excellence in storytelling and representation of diversity will be recognized and celebrated. The top three winners will receive not only well-deserved recognition, but also a cash prize as a gesture of appreciation for their contribution to the art of filmmaking and the promotion of diversity.

Prizes will be distributed as follows:

First Place: $1,500,000 Colombian pesos.
Second Place: $1,000,000 Colombian pesos.
Third Place: $500,000 Colombian pesos.

Who can participate?

We invite filmmakers from Colombia, residents or not, to submit their short films. We celebrate diversity and are looking for stories that reflect LGBTQ+ realities.

Requirements:

Be a Colombian citizen.

The short film must be made as of January 2023.

duration: between 5 and 30 minutes (including credits).

We accept all genres, fiction or non-fiction, as long as it meets the screening standards and has an LGBTQ+ theme.

Spanish subtitles (if applicable).

Accept the terms and conditions of the festival.

What are we looking for?

Original and diverse stories.

Short films that promote inclusion and respect.

Works that challenge stereotypes and make the LGBTQ+ community visible.

Important:

Misogynistic, homophobic or discriminatory works will not be accepted. Participants may submit more than one short film, if chosen, they will be screened in the central exhibition, however, only the one with the highest score will be awarded.

The team of jurors will select the best short films, which will be screened at the Central Exhibit. The selection will be made taking into account the script, photography, sound, editing and a personal evaluation.
