RULES
I FILM FESTIVAL "MAZARRÓN FÍLMICA"
November 11, 2017

1-THEME

The theme is free, excluding short films with pornographic content and explicit violence.

2-TERMS

The call is open from September 29, 2017 to October 31, 2017 at 23:59 hours (local time).

3-FEATURES OF THE SHORTFILMS

-The participating short films will have a maximum duration of 10 minutes, including credits.

-The works presented must have audio or subtitles in Spanish.

- Standard format compatible with the most popular video players.

-It can be recorded with any device (cinema, digital, video, Smartphone, etc.) and with any technique: real image, animation, stop-motion, etc.

-The authors will be responsible for the copyright and content of their works.

-The works must have been completed in 2016 or 2017.

4-REGISTRATION

It will be made through the websites www.festhome.com, attaching a registration form which must include at least: author (full name and e-mail), title of the short film, duration, synopsis, cover and frame capture.

This information will be used for the purpose of identifying the participants and their works.

The participation in this festival is free, not including in this the sending through the websites.

5-INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The participants give the organization their exhibition rights to project short films at this festival and future events related to it.




6-SELECTION AND PROJECTION

Ten short films will be selected, which will be screened in the town of Mazarrón (Murcia, Spain), on Saturday November 11, 2017, at 18:00 in the cultural center of Mazarrón, with free admission.

Two awards will be awarded: the best short film, assigned by the organization, and audiencie award, by popular vote. They will be made public in our social networks and sending a press release to the media.

The contest is not endowed with an economic prize, but will be presented with the digital delivery of the laurels of winners and official selection.

7-ACCEPTANCE OF THE BASES

The presentation to this contest implies, on the part of the participants, the knowledge and acceptance of the present bases and the decision and modification of the jury decision.

The present bases are subject to possible modifications and / or annexes if necessary.
