A world class festival bringing world class film to the region. Frederick is an hour north of Washington DC and an hour West of Baltimore, with a rich history and diverse population.

Our organization's mission is to provide access and exposure to the art of film and film appreciation to the Frederick community through exhibition of films and other film-related educational activities.

Short or feature length films of a wide variety of genres.

Ability to get the film to us in DVD or downloadable digital format.

If your film is not English, subtitles will be necessary.

No entry fee is required between Nov., 16th, 2014, and Dec. 1, 2014.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Each movie entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form and applicable entry fees (late deadline fees only). Submissions must be on DVD (any region). Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English. All DVDs must be clearly labeled with the title of the entry, running time, aspect ratio, and the name of the director. Electronic entries are accepted but entire film must be online, either downloadable or viewable online, and an electronic copy of this form must accompany this message.
Filmmakers of selected films receive a Filmmaker Pass for all F3 Events (maximum of 2). In addition: Submitters of feature films accepted into the festival receive six (6) weekend passes to the Festival. Submitters of short films accepted into the festival receive two (2) weekend passes to the Festival.
Films previously submitted to The Frederick Film Festival are NOT eligible for new entry. Entrant confirms and warrants required legal authority to submit the entry into the F3 and to use all music, images, and content in the entry. Entrant will allow usage of clips from the film for promotional use on television, radio, in print, and at live F3 events.
Please do not send press kits (electronic or print) until requested to do so.
SHIPPING
Shipping is the responsibility of the Entrant. C.O.D.'S will not be accepted. The festival cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials during shipping. Do NOT send the master or only copy.

SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
Festival selections will be announced on or around May 5th, 2015. All entrants will be notified by email and the selected films will be posted on our website. The Frederick Film Festival cannot pay rental or screening fees for submitted work.
