We're filmmakers and we love sharing, seeing and finding new short films that tell great stories, no matter what the format.
Moscow TV Festival is an annual two-day event in the heart of the Russian capital.
Our mission is to offer a great opportunity to have your short films screened for a Russian audience that might not have other ways to experience your work. Your film will be viewed by our local audiences and will be judged by a jury of film professionals.
Moscow TV is a festival with a live screening. Our festival will take place in the Moscow Film School. The festival program has workshops and master classes from professional cinematic art.
Awards of first, second and third place will be available in the following categories:
Best Short
Short Comedy
Short Documentary
Short Animation
Short Drama
Short Genre (Sci-Fi / Action / Horror...)
Short First Stage (Experimental)
Short TV Series
Shorter Short (Films under 1 min. All genres including animation)
All winners will receive a certificate which we will send by DHL or Post if you can not attend.
Finalists in every category will be shown at screenings in Moscow. The Filmmakers of Finalist / Official Selection films will be awarded free passes to attend all festival screenings. We will also provide free passes up to 3 members of your cast and crew, or family and friends.
Submit an online screener of your entry, ensuring a maximum of 40 minutes for short films (up to 30 min. for animation, up to 45 min. for main categoty) and a maximum of 1 minutes for shorter short films, to be considered by our jury.
Submissions
TVfest accept all forms and genres.
Important: All movies need to have English subtitles.
Entry does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. Submissions WILL NOT be returned. We also accept submissions that have premiered elsewhere and that may have distribution agreements already in place. Rough cuts and incomplete projects are not accepted. Multiple entries are allowed, however a separate entry form must be submitted for each. The festival has the capability to screen BluRay and DVD, but prefered.
Productions made after January 1st, 2007 may be submitted.
If your film is chosen to screen in competition, we will send you an acceptance email and request a digital transfer of your short film. The file must be received by the date stated in the acceptance email, or your film will not be screened.
For any questions please contact us by email: submission@tvfest.ru
Good luck to everyone!
