The festival "Rencontres du cinéma latino américain" organized by France Amérique Latine Comité Bordeaux Gironde is 44 years old.

The missions developed since the creation of this event are:

- To make the Latin American continent known: its cultures, its struggles, its peculiarities...
- To increase the visibility of little-known works.
- To share the political and artistic visions of Latin American countries.

The feature film program is divided into two categories: films in competition and those not participating in the competition. Depending on the year, the film committee reserves the right to add a category to the selection.

The film committee will decide the dates and times of the screenings of each film.

The 4th International Diverse Film Festival marks a new chapter in the artistic and curatorial evolution of the festival. Under the concept “Revealed Memory,” this edition explores cinema as a living archive capable of preserving stories, identities, emotions, and experiences that have shaped the ways we understand diversity.

Rather than defining the selection criteria, “Revealed Memory” serves as the curatorial framework that inspires this year’s festival. We welcome fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and hybrid short films that explore the diverse experiences, perspectives, and narratives of LGBTQIA+ communities across a wide range of genres, styles, and artistic approaches.

The GEH Short Film Competition is a short film competition on human rights held in different localities of Gipuzkoa (Basque Country).

This competition is part of the global project human rights Giza Eskubideak Herrira (Bringing human rights to the people.). The GEH is a human rights awareness project created by the dar-dar Productions cooperative in 2015. The first editions were based in Ordizia. In 2023, the festival has developed and extended to several towns in Gipuzkoa (Euskal Herria).

Organized by ONG Acción Intercultural and Liceo Artístico Guillermo Gronemeyer, the 6th Raúl Ruiz School Film Festival invites young creators to participate in its November 2026 edition in Chile. ESPIELLO, INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ETHNOGRAPHIC DOCUMENTARY is organized by the Service of Culture of the Comarca de Sobrarbe (an institution that it groups to 19 town halls) along with a wide participation of neighbors of the zone who form the Permanent Commission of the festival. It is celebrated during March and April in Boltaña, a small population of the Pyrenees of Huesca (Spain).

Espiello is the only festival with this specialization in the country. It has an international competition of ethnographic documentary and some different sections out of competition and other activities whith topics related to the documentary and the visual anthropology.

The eleventh La Serena International Film Festival (FECILS) is a competitive audiovisual event that will take place from October 21 to 24, 2026, in the Coquimbo region. It seeks to support the production and dissemination of regional, national, and Latin American audiovisual activities, thus contributing to decentralization by promoting the exchange and training of regional filmmakers and producers. Through these actions, FECILS seeks to establish itself as a cultural event that, in addition to generating film exhibition spaces in the Coquimbo region, focuses on generating new audiences. FECILS 2026 features an audiovisual outreach program that will reach various venues in the region's communes.

The Cultural Británico cordially greets you and opens the call for entries to the “XIII INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR CHILDREN, CINI 2027”, to be held in Lima, Peru, from February 10th to 14th, 2027.

This festival is held in the auditoriums of the Centro Cultural Británico, located in the districts of Surco, San Miguel, San Borja, Pueblo Libre, San Martín de Porres, Santa Anita, San Juan de Lurigancho, Camacho, and Miraflores.
