El Grupo Latinoamericano de Desarrollo de Guiones #2 – Marieta es un laboratorio internacional de desarrollo de guiones organizado en Brasil, con modalidad completamente virtual. La convocatoria está dirigida a personas guionistas de América Latina, ya sea por nacionalidad o por residencia en la región durante al menos cinco años.
El programa está enfocado en el desarrollo de proyectos de largometraje, tanto de ficción como de documental, en distintas etapas de escritura. Funciona como un laboratorio creativo, con encuentros semanales orientados al fortalecimiento del guion y al acompañamiento del proceso autoral.
Los proyectos deben presentarse en español, que es el idioma principal de trabajo del grupo, aunque se acepta un uso avanzado de portuñol. No está orientado a proyectos finalizados ni a instancias de mercado, sino a procesos de desarrollo.

Grupo Latinoamericano de Desarrollo de Guiones
Málaga Short Corner is a platform within MAFIZ focused on promoting and internationally distributing recent or notable Spanish short films. The 2026 edition, its fourth, will take place from March 10 to 12 during the Málaga Festival, aiming to connect filmmakers with programmers, sales agents, and audiovisual industry professionals.
Eligible films are Spanish short films up to 30 minutes long, either completed or in “work-in-progress” stage, as long as they are expected to premiere before the market screenings. Priority is given to projects with sales agents, distribution contracts, or strong export potential. All films must include English subtitles.
The deadline for submissions is January 11, 2026, with selection notifications expected around February 23, 2026. Submission requires completing the official form, and acceptance does not guarantee participation. This platform provides a strategic opportunity to showcase and distribute Spanish short films internationally, offering direct contact with key industry professionals.

ECAM FORUM was created to promote audiovisual production, foster emerging Spanish talent, and internationalize audiovisual projects and companies.
It is a co-production forum aiming to become an essential platform for the advancement of the Spanish audiovisual sector, bridging the national and international audiovisual industries, and connecting top talent with a significant delegation of international audiovisual industry representatives.
A carefully selected range of audiovisual projects in various categories (feature films in development, feature films in postproduction, short films, and series) share workspace with decision-makers from the international audiovisual world through presentations, screenings, meeting agendas, one-to-one sessions, scheduled encounters, seminars, conferences, and industry rendezvous.
In its first edition, ECAM FORUM attracted programmers from festivals such as Berlinale, Cannes Quinzaine, Locarno, Rotterdam, Toronto, San Sebastián, Sundance, Marrakesh, Zurich, the New York Film Festival, and Series Mania, sales agents like Coproduction Office, Goodfellas, Mk2, Films Boutique, or Alpha Violet, markets such as Les Arcs, MIA Market, MAFIZ, BAM Bogotá, or Cinemart, and leading independent production companies from France, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, the USA, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Greece, Argentina, Uruguay, among others.

ECAM Forum
Docs in Progress 2026 is a call organized by DocsValència Espai de No Ficció, aimed at documentary feature films currently in the editing stage. The program is designed for projects in first or second rough cut, with an approximate duration between 50 and 90 minutes, and that are not yet completed.
The call takes place in Spain, in the city of Valencia, and functions as a Work in Progress or laboratory initiative, focusing on narrative, creative, and editing analysis of selected projects. Only non-fiction documentary projects are eligible.
Applications are limited to projects linked to the Valencian Community. Projects may apply if the director or producer can demonstrate at least three years of residence in the region, or, in the case of co-productions, if there is a minimum of 20% Valencian ownership.
