B!tchFest Film Festival & Screenplay Contest
The BAM Projects – Documentary Films 2026 call is aimed at feature-length creative documentaries in development, with a minimum duration of 70 minutes. It is organized by the Bogotá Audiovisual Market and is open exclusively to Colombian projects, where both the legal entity and the director must be Colombian nationals.
Applications are open from November 13, 2025, and close on January 8, 2026, at 3:59 p.m. Colombia time. Selected projects will be announced on March 27, 2026. Afterwards, teams will participate in business and creative development activities from April 20 to June 5, 2026, culminating in their participation in the Bogotá Audiovisual Market from July 6 to 10, 2026.
This call seeks to support advanced documentary projects with partial funding secured, offering spaces for assessment, mentorship, and visibility in the national and international audiovisual industry. Short films, series, and educational, corporate, or institutional documentaries are not accepted.

Documentary Films - BAM
The From the Root Screenwriting Residency, organized by Fundación Algo en Común, is aimed at screenwriters and filmmakers from Black, Afro-descendant, Raizal, Palenquero, Rrom, and Indigenous communities from Colombia, the Americas, and their diasporas. The program seeks to strengthen their voices and stories in the audiovisual field. Twenty fiction feature film projects will be selected. The residency will take place from September 1 to November 28, 2025, including virtual activities and a two-week immersion in Cali, Colombia. Participants will receive training in screenwriting, personalized mentoring, and support in project development. At the end, a networking session with the industry will be held to present the projects to producers and specialized audiences. Applications are open until July 27, 2025.

Screenwriting Residency “From the Root” - Algo en Común
El BAMMERS es un programa dirigido a jóvenes talentos de la industria audiovisual que buscan potenciar sus habilidades en producción y dirección, organizado por el Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM). Este programa está dirigido a productores y directores jóvenes que tengan entre 22 y 30 años y que ya cuenten con experiencia en el campo de la producción o dirección, habiendo trabajado en al menos un proyecto audiovisual comercializado (película, serie, cortometraje, etc.).

BAMMERS - BAM
The INCAA Finished Comedy Screenplay Competition 2026, organized by Argentina’s National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), is open to Argentine screenwriters aged 18 and older. The call accepts completed comedy screenplays, including comedy, romantic comedy, dark comedy, and related subgenres, in both fiction and animation.
Eligible formats include feature films of up to 120 minutes and series consisting of at least four episodes with a minimum running time of 15 minutes each. As the competition is dedicated to completed screenplays, it falls under the Completed Projects category rather than a pitch forum, laboratory, or market.
Applications will be accepted from April 20, 2026, to May 20, 2026, until 2:00 p.m. (Argentina time). The call does not specify event dates or an official announcement date for the selected projects; the results will be published later through an official INCAA resolution.
