ComedyLab 2026 is a comedy project development lab organized by TorinoFilmLab in Italy. It is open to screenwriters and comedians worldwide, aiming to develop feature-length comedy projects through in-person and online workshops. All project materials must be submitted in English, which is also the working language of the workshops and activities.
The program runs from March to November 2026 and includes multiple sessions: a preliminary workshop in Turin at the end of February, workshops in Belgium and Poland in April and June, online sessions in September and October, and a final project presentation in Turin in November.
Applications are open internationally until December 12, 2025, and focus exclusively on feature-length comedy projects. Participants without a project can also join to collaborate on selected projects.
ComedyLab provides an opportunity to strengthen comedic writing skills, creative collaboration, and the professional development of projects within the audiovisual industry.

ComedyLab - TFL
TorinoFilmLab SeriesLab 2026 is an international development program for television fiction series, aimed at European teams and international projects with potential for European co-production. It accepts mini-series, episodic series, and ongoing serials, but does not accept documentary series.
Applications are open until December 17, 2025, 16:00 CET. The program will run from June to November 2026, including three residential workshops and online sessions in between. The first workshop will take place in early June, the second in mid-September, and the third in late November in Turin, Italy.
The lab provides comprehensive project development training, covering series concept, pilot script development, and preparation of industry-ready materials, culminating in a pitch session to industry professionals. SeriesLab combines creative training with networking and professional guidance, supporting projects with strong potential for international production and distribution.

Encuentro Colaborativo de Cines
La convocatoria Talents Guadalajara 2025, organizada por el Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG), abre su periodo de postulación del 15 de octubre al 19 de diciembre de 2025. El evento se realizará del 19 al 22 de abril de 2026 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México.
La convocatoria está dirigida a profesionales del cine y la animación, aceptando postulaciones tanto nacionales como internacionales, especialmente de México, Centroamérica, el Caribe y Sudamérica, así como hispanohablantes residentes en Norteamérica y egresados de ciertas escuelas de cine de habla hispana. Se reciben candidatos de diversas disciplinas: dirección, actuación, guion, cinematografía, sonido, producción y distribución.
El programa ofrece áreas de especialización como Acting/Directing Studio, Camera Studio, Script Studio, Sound Studio, Talent Motion Studio y Talent Project Market, este último orientado a largometrajes en desarrollo. Se aceptan diferentes formatos según la disciplina: demo reels para profesionales creativos y proyectos de largometraje con dossier para el Talent Project Market. Talents Guadalajara busca fomentar la formación y el desarrollo de proyectos cinematográficos en un entorno internacional de colaboración y aprendizaje.

The ScriptLab Story Editing 2026 call by TorinoFilmLab is a training program for professionals aiming to work as story editors in the development of fiction feature film scripts. The application deadline is 3 November 2025, and the program runs from April to November 2026 with both in-person and online modules. The base country is Italy, with some workshops in Luxembourg and Estonia, and it is open to international applicants from around the world with relevant experience in film and script development. The focus is strictly on fiction, not documentary or animation. Applications require a single PDF in English including a motivation letter, CV, and a personal video message. The participation fee is €1,500 (+ VAT), covering training and residential accommodation, while travel and additional meal costs are on the participant. Partial scholarships are available, and one full scholarship is offered to a Brazilian professional.
