The Ñuble National Film Festival presents the Confluencias 2026 call, aimed at strengthening the region’s cultural identity and promoting Chilean cinema. Filmmakers from across the country are invited to participate in various sections and industry labs.
The call includes three industry initiatives: the First Feature Lab for fiction projects in early feature stages; the Regional Documentary Lab, for those developing documentary projects at different production stages; and the New Media and Extended Realities Lab, focused on immersive, interactive, or transmedia projects.
All industry activities will take place in person at the Municipal Cultural Center of Chillán from January 13 to 17, 2026. Additionally, there will be a Virtual Reality room open to the public to experience lab projects. Registration for participation is open until November 2, 2025.

Starting from 2003, Open Doors has been championing filmmaking from regions where independent cinema is especially challenging, building bridges for collaboration across regions, countries and continents. Through Open Doors' public and professional programs, we aim to provide a space where talents find support in every step of their creative and professional journey and where discussion and reinvention of today’s cinema can happen among free voices.
The ultimate goal of the Open Doors is to contribute to the development of a more collaborative worldwide film community without borders, while making the independent scene stronger and more sustainable.

Ópera de Leyva: A space where the new Colombian cinema is born. Five first fiction feature film projects, selected by call, will have group workshops and personalized tutoring, with experts in project development, script, production, pitch and distribution.

The Malaga Festival is calling for aid for audiovisual creation for the eleventh consecutive year with the aim of encouraging and energizing audiovisual creation in Malaga. These grants are aimed at projects for the making of action, animation or documentary short films with a maximum duration of 30 minutes and free themes.

Audiovisual Creation Grants - Málaga
Impulso Morelia 11 calls for Mexican feature films (fiction or documentary) in postproduction to participate in its 2025 edition. Selected projects will be presented to international experts (programmers, distributors, producers) to receive feedback and support for completion and circulation.
The call closes on July 23, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. CST. Results will be published on August 26, with the in-person meeting taking place October 13–15 during the 23rd FICM.
Eligible projects must have a rough cut between 70 and 120 minutes, directed by Mexican citizens or legal residents in Mexico, and must not have participated in other work-in-progress programs or previous Impulso Morelia editions.
Awards include the José María Riba Prize ($250,000 MXN), postproduction services worth over 1 million pesos, and promotional support.
