The Industry Academy Colombia is an intensive training program created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, aimed at young professionals in the film industry working in areas such as distribution, sales, marketing, exhibition, and festival programming.
The second edition of the Industry Academy Colombia took place from July 14 to 18, 2024, in collaboration with the Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM).

The Industry Academy Chile is an intensive training program created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, designed to foster innovation among young professionals in the film industry. The program focuses on key areas such as distribution, sales, film marketing, exhibition, and festival programming.
This program is developed in collaboration with SANFIC (Santiago International Film Festival) in Chile, with the goal of providing participants with practical and strategic tools to strengthen their skills in the audiovisual industry. The Industry Academy Chile takes place within the framework of SANFIC, a major platform for independent Latin American and global cinema.
Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to attend masterclasses, workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking activities, which allow them to expand their contacts and strengthen their presence in the international market. Additionally, the selected participants receive training on essential industry aspects, such as the development and commercialization of film projects, international distribution, and the dynamics of film festivals.

La Industry Academy Brasil es un programa de formación intensiva creado por el Festival de Locarno en 2014, diseñado para fomentar la innovación en jóvenes profesionales de la industria cinematográfica, enfocándose en áreas como distribución, ventas, marketing cinematográfico, exhibición y programación de festivales. Este programa está dirigido a jóvenes profesionales con el objetivo de proporcionarles herramientas estratégicas que les permitan mejorar sus habilidades y fortalecer su presencia en el mercado cinematográfico internacional.
Este programa se desarrolla en el marco de BrLab, un reconocido evento en Brasil que se dedica a la formación, desarrollo y apoyo de la industria audiovisual en América Latina. BrLab es un espacio clave para los profesionales del cine que buscan mejorar sus proyectos, adquirir conocimientos sobre la industria global y fortalecer su red de contactos. Durante el programa, los participantes tienen la oportunidad de trabajar en workshops, sesiones de mentoría, y actividades de networking, donde se enfocan en aspectos clave como la internacionalización y distribución de proyectos cinematográficos, así como en el financiamiento y la estrategia de marketing.

Industry Academy Brasil
Syncro Lab is the training, industry, and critical thinking space of the Syncro Film Fest, aimed at filmmakers, students, and professionals of independent auteur cinema. This call invites participants to join workshops, project labs, roundtables, and industry meetings focused on short films. The goal is to promote creation, circulation, and critical reflection on cinema as an artistic practice. Syncro Lab offers a collaborative environment where participants can develop their projects, connect with peers, and rethink contemporary filmmaking.
