Impact Days is the FIFDH’s professional programme for filmmakers and NGOs, now in its sixth edition. We select quality documentary projects, work with filmmakers to refine their impact goals, and facilitate partnerships within the vast ecosystem of organisations, policymakers and funders active around International Geneva.

With the purpose of promoting the development of Mexican cinematographic art and promoting this industry as a point of cultural, artistic, social and economic development in our country, Guillermo del Toro, the Mary Street Jenkins Foundation, the Board of Trustees of the International Film Festival in Guadalajara, A.C. University of Guadalajara (FICG Board) and the Fundación Universidad de Guadalajara A.C. (Convening Entities), invite natural persons of Mexican nationality who wish to study in full-time face-to-face bachelor's or master's programs abroad (basic or specialization), in any field related to cinematography, to participate in the Call for obtain the “Jenkins-del Toro Scholarship”.

Beca Jenkins-Del Toro
It consists of an innovative workshop in Latin America, inspired by @jacksonwildorg's Jackson Wild Media Lab Festival, in which 12 scholarship recipients will learn from audiovisual industry leaders about science communication, audiovisual project realization and impact, and will be challenged to make a short film that will be presented within the festival.

DocsLab - DocsValencia
Script Review Workshop is a laboratory that provides independent filmmakers from around the world the opportunity to work intensively on their narrative feature scripts in an environment structured to foster professional collaboration and the development of high-quality scripts. The lab consists of a two-week residential workshop and a two-day online follow-up session.
The laboratory is run by professionals in the field with extensive experience. In addition to the script guidance provided by the facilitator through workshop sessions and one-on-one meetings, participants are given ample time to write. The lab offers participants the opportunity to work on their projects with other international filmmakers, be part of a community of like-minded artists, and access the Cine Qua Non Lab professional film network.
