The National Short Film Meeting – ENC is aimed at producers with projects in the post-production stage, who work on creating release and circulation strategies. Those selected receive personalized support from national and international experts to define a distribution route in festivals and alternative scenarios.
The ENC is a strategy of the Directorate of Audiovisuals, Cinema and Interactive Media of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge, which is carried out with the support of the National Council of Arts and Culture in Cinematography - CNACC and the Embassy of France in Colombia through the Regional Audiovisual Cooperation service for the Andean Countries, the 16th Popayán Short Film Festival and the 22nd Bogotá Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS.

National Short Film Meeting
MIA 2025 is now accepting submissions from producers with development projects in the Animation, Documentary, Drama, and Film categories. Up to 50 international projects will be selected, aiming for co-production, financing, or pre-sale agreements. Eligible projects must be intended for theatrical release, television broadcast, or digital streaming platforms. The submission deadline is June 19, 2025, by 5:00 PM CEST.
Selected projects will participate in the Pitching Forum during the event, held in Rome from October 6 to 10, 2025. They will also be eligible for the MIA Development Awards, each offering a €5,000 cash prize per category.
Participation is open to lead producers with a registered production company. Multiple projects may be submitted, provided each meets the eligibility criteria. All materials must be submitted in English.

he ABCGuionistas Short Screenplay International Contest opens its eighth edition with the collaboration of Altamedia Studios, Instituto del Cine Madrid (Madrid Film Institute), in addition to the brands Marca de Autor and Un Verano de Guion.
The contest has the purpose of promoting the creation of short screenplays in Spanish and the visibility of their authors. It is opened for novel and professional screenwriters of any country seeking to show their storytelling talent, winning exposure and getting rewarded for writing.

VIII International Competition Short Film Script Abcscriptwriters
La residencia de escritura CASA CINE 2026 está dirigida a guionistas y cineastas que trabajen en su primera o segunda película de largometraje. La convocatoria es internacional, aceptando participantes de cualquier nacionalidad, y se enfoca en proyectos de ficción, documental creativo o animación.
Las postulaciones para guionistas y director-guionistas estarán abiertas desde el 3 de noviembre hasta el 3 de diciembre de 2025, mientras que los compositores de música de cine podrán postular del 15 de enero al 15 de febrero de 2026. La residencia se llevará a cabo del 6 al 29 de mayo de 2026, en el Château de la Napoule, Francia, coincidiendo con el Festival de Cannes.
Durante la residencia, los participantes recibirán acompañamiento intensivo en escritura cinematográfica y musical, con la oportunidad de presentar sus proyectos frente a profesionales de la industria. La convocatoria se centra en largometrajes, no aceptando series ni cortometrajes, y está diseñada para fortalecer la escritura de guion y composición musical dentro de un ambiente internacional y creativo.
