Mentoring Acció>Cinema is a project development and mentoring program within L’Alternativa PRO 2026, taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from November 12 to 22, 2026. The initiative provides professional mentoring, project consultancy, and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening socially engaged audiovisual projects.
The call is open to both national and international applicants and will select four projects. Eligible applicants include directors, screenwriters, producers, and professionals working in the field of international cooperation. Projects may be submitted at various stages, including development, writing, pre-production, production, editing, and post-production.
The program accepts short films and feature films in fiction, documentary/non-fiction, animation, experimental, and hybrid formats. Projects should address issues related to social justice, human rights, international cooperation, or inequalities between the Global North and South.

Series Lab - Sanfic
The seventh edition of Rio2C 2025 invited creators and producers to pitch their audiovisual projects in categories such as documentary/factual, animation, fiction, reality, and podcast. Both Industry (for companies with CNPJ) and Talent (for individual creators with CPF) pitching sessions provided a platform to connect with executives from streaming platforms, TV channels, production companies, and distributors, facilitating opportunities for co-production, licensing, and distribution. Selected participants received prior training to enhance their presentations. Additionally, projects registered in the Business Rounds had the option to participate in the corresponding pitching session, increasing their visibility and collaboration prospects.

Rio2C
The VI SANFIC-Mórbido Lab is a development lab for Latin American horror and fantasy film projects, focusing on feature films. It will take place from August 17 to 22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industry, in partnership with Mórbido Group. The lab selects up to 6 projects to receive personalized and group mentorship from international experts. Participants will also pitch their projects to potential co-producers and distributors. The selected projects have the chance to win various prizes, including Mórbido’s funding for 20% of the budget, a Fantastic Pavilion participation at the Cannes Film Market, and other prestigious awards. The deadline to apply is May 26, 2025, and the application form is available online. Mórbido Lab - Sanfic
MEDIMED Doc Market 2026 is an international documentary market held in Sitges, Spain, from October 9 to October 12, 2026. The call is open to documentary projects in development, production, or post-production, as well as completed documentaries and series. It is aimed at producers and directors with internationally oriented documentary projects.
