Series Lab - Sanfic
The seventh edition of Rio2C 2025 invited creators and producers to pitch their audiovisual projects in categories such as documentary/factual, animation, fiction, reality, and podcast. Both Industry (for companies with CNPJ) and Talent (for individual creators with CPF) pitching sessions provided a platform to connect with executives from streaming platforms, TV channels, production companies, and distributors, facilitating opportunities for co-production, licensing, and distribution. Selected participants received prior training to enhance their presentations. Additionally, projects registered in the Business Rounds had the option to participate in the corresponding pitching session, increasing their visibility and collaboration prospects.

Rio2C
The VI SANFIC-Mórbido Lab is a development lab for Latin American horror and fantasy film projects, focusing on feature films. It will take place from August 17 to 22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industry, in partnership with Mórbido Group. The lab selects up to 6 projects to receive personalized and group mentorship from international experts. Participants will also pitch their projects to potential co-producers and distributors. The selected projects have the chance to win various prizes, including Mórbido’s funding for 20% of the budget, a Fantastic Pavilion participation at the Cannes Film Market, and other prestigious awards. Mórbido Lab - Sanfic
MEDIMED Doc Market 2026 is an international documentary market held in Sitges, Spain, from October 9 to October 12, 2026. The call is open to documentary projects in development, production, or post-production, as well as completed documentaries and series. It is aimed at producers and directors with internationally oriented documentary projects.
The submission deadline is June 30, 2026. The event focuses on pitching, co-production, financing, and distribution opportunities through public pitching sessions, one-to-one meetings, and industry networking with international decision-makers.
It is an international call, open to projects from Europe and the Euro-Mediterranean region, including Southern Mediterranean and MENA countries, provided they have strong international co-production and distribution potential. The Productoras Lab 2025 at SANFIC Industry is a program aimed at female producers from Latin America working on fiction or documentary first or second feature film projects. The program offers mentorship from international experts, and participants will have the opportunity to pitch their projects to a jury and international guests during the in-person SANFIC Industry event.
