We are looking for shorts and feature films for children and teenagers between 8 and 14 years of fiction and animation.

1.- Torrecinos Award for Best Animated Short Film (Statuette + Certificate) in the International Screening (Category: Kids)

2.- Torrecinos Award for Best Fiction Short Film (Statuette + Certificate) in the International Screening (Category: Kids)

3.- Torrecinos Award for Best Animated Short Film (Statuette + Certificate) in the International Screening (Category: Teens)

4.- Torrecinos Award for Best Fiction Short Film (Statuette + Certificate) in the International Screening (Category: Teens)

5.- Torrecinos Award for Feature Film (Statuette + Certificate) in the International Screening (Sole featured film award)

1. Audiovisual works produced between 2016 and 2018 can participate in the competition.

2. The Festival will have two categories this year:

A."Kids", divided into:
A.1. Animated.
A.2. Fiction

B. "Teens", divided into:
B.1. Animated.
B.2. Fiction

3. There will be accepted up to two works by contestant.

4. Tofifes aims at promoting creativity as an essential value for children's and teenagers' development, reason why the audiovisual works submitted should be related to the topic of the Festival's second edition: "creativity in children and teenagers."

5. The open call for entries will start on July 30, 2018. The deadline is on October 15, 2018.

6. Registration will be done on http://www.festhome.com/ Accordingly, a registration form must be filled and contestants must fulfill the requirements of the platform.

7. The submission of works implies the acceptance of the Festival's regulations and that who makes the registration has the ownership of the rights of exhibition and explotation of such works.

8. Registration in this Festival is free and will only take you a few minutes.

9. Submitted audiovisual works must have a minimum of 6 minutes length and must not exceed 60 minutes.

10. Audiovisual works whose original language is not Spanish must be submitted with Spanish or English subtitles.

11. The II Tofifes Panama 2018 reserves the right to choose the number of works that will participate in the competition.

12. Curatorship will be done by a evaluating jury selected by the Festival's organizers who will evaluate both categories ("Kids" and "Teens"). This jury will designate the works that will participate in the official competition.

13. A jury composed by recognized national and international experts in the fields of audiovisual, arts, culture and education will deliberate about the works and choose the winners of the II Tofifes.

14. The decision of the juries is indisputable.

15. The authors, directors and / or producers, in whatever form they may be (civil or legal), when registering and being selected to compete for II Tofifes Panama, voluntarily, broadly, irrevocably and gratuitously grant the rights of exhibition, transmission and retransmission of the audiovisual work or works to Tormenta Creativa SA (Producer of the Festival); understanding that the sample of the piece is made without profit and only in the territory of the Republic of Panama for a period not exceeding 365 continuous days counted from the day on which the official selection of the Festival is notified.

The exhibition may be made through any means of communication or dissemination known or known, including but not limited to: Open Television, VOD platforms (video on demand without costs), Internet (streaming limited to the national territory), social networks (for promotions), Mobile Apps, among others. For its part Tormenta Creativa S.A. notify the owner of the piece about the program of projections that his work would have.

16. All the participants will be communicated, via email in addition to the publication in networks and our official page, of the official selection of the Festival as well as of the final decision of the jury in the different categories of the Tofifes.
