Fantasy & horror film festival “Hrizantema” (chrysanthemum), has been organized for the first time in October 2013. The festival takes the place among the small, independent festivals of explicit genres. The horror and fantasy film genre has survived the countless transformations from the very beginnings of cinema. Artists, film - makers, professionals and enthusiast, through the time, have positioned the genres of horror and fantasy and sealed its status among the other genres.

Submission is open for fantasy and horror short films.

Films will be competing for one of the following prizes:

Hrizantema Award for Best Film
Hrizantema Award for Best Scenario
Hrizantema Award for Best Actor
Hrizantema Award for Best Actress
Hrizantema Award for Best Film Music
Audience award

Films should be max. 15 minutes long, and they can be made in any way.
They must be submitted in digital format, DVD (MPEG2 coded preferred) or Blu-ray (H264 coding preferred, AVI, MOV, MKV, MPG, MP4…) and they must have gone through production in the past three years.

- English subtitles are mandatory.

- The festival does not return copies.

By signing an application the author guarantees that he/she holds all copyrights to the film.
