The INterioriza-te Association invites creators, dreamers, and storytellers to take part in the Short Film Festival, featuring a public screening as part of the event’s program on September 13, starting at 9 PM, in the scenic Mata das Alminhas, in Nelas.

This festival was created with the aim of promoting the creation and sharing of short films, encouraging artistic expression, critical thinking, and community involvement. In a relaxed setting, under the stars and among the trees, cinema becomes a meeting point between those who create and those who watch.

The open call is open to anyone aged 16 and over, whether amateur or professional, working individually or as a team. The theme is open, allowing total creative freedom.

Participation is free and aims to celebrate a diversity of perspectives, voices, and styles. All selected short films will be screened in a public open-air session, turning the forest into a collective screen of imagination, talent, and emotion.

There are no prizes.

Submissions must be made by 11:59 PM on September 5. The selection results will be announced on September 6.

Participants must send the link to their short film to the email address geral@interiorizate.pt, with the subject line: "Submission – Open Call Curtas 2025".

All short films that do not contain insulting, discriminatory, or offensive content will be accepted for consideration. The selection will be made by the INterioriza-te Association team. Selected short films will be publicly screened during the event on September 13, 2025, and no prizes or honorable mentions will be awarded.
