LesGayCinePty will take place in Panama, from September 19th to
September 20th, 2014.
Any film with a gay, lesbian, transsexual, transvestite, or bisexual theme, shot
on film or videotape, is eligible to compete in this Festival.
In order to participate, the following should be sent before July 19th, 2014:
The entry form duly filled out and signed or stamped by the director
or producer;
A copy of the film (already subtitled in Spanish, if possible) either in
DVD or digital format;
A copy of the script in Spanish, English, Italian, or French if necessary;
Accompanying publicity for the film, including digital photographs
taken from the film, of the director, or other press material
The list of selected films will be published on August 15th, 2014.
All films selected for competition in the festival will compete in the
category Feature Length Films (fiction films longer than 60 minutes).
LesGayCinePty reserves the right to use up to 90 seconds of each film for
festival promotion purposes and in various media. The projection copies of
the film and all other materials should be sent to the following address:

The projection copy of the film must be in the Festival before July 01st, 2014.
Copies which are incomplete, in poor condition or quality, or in a different
format than requested will not be accepted.
The costs of shipping of the projection copy will be afforded by the
participant that presents the film. In order to avoid customs duties and
delays, it is best to write “ACTIVIDAD CULTURAL SIN VALOR COMERCIAL”
(“cultural activity without commercial value”) on the box containing
the projection copy.
Participation in LesGayCinePty implies authorization to exhibit the applying
productions in Panama and the other cities where the Festival presents on
tour during 2014 and 2015.

LesGayCinePty will remain with a digital copy of each production for
archival.
LesGayCinePty not responsible for any damage to the film while it is in
Panama. In case of damage or lost the Festival will only replace the virgin
material. Under no circumstances will LesGayCinePty Film Festival be
responsible for damage or loss during shipment.
LesGayCinePty will award a recognition that will be voted by an international
or national jury 2014.
The award will be made public on September 20th, 2014 at the closing
ceremony.
These rules and regulations are available in English and Spanish. In case of
any discrepancy, the Spanish version will prevail.
Participation in LesGayCinePty implies the total acceptance of these
rules and regulations, and of any and all decisions that may be made
by the Festival authorities.
