International Film Festival – FERFILM was thought for some years but established in 2013. FERFILM was formed by a group of artists from Ferizaj and beyond. This moment was considered as an initiative to promote universal cultures and values of the world through film as a multidimensional and attractive method. Thinking of tourism’s potential that has Ferizaj, besides cinematographic events, our festival will organize visits and other events that show the cultural diversity in Kosovo.

All the category winners as an award will receive: a Winner Certificate and the Statue of Ferfilm.
Every participant who is present at the festival will be certified in the Ceremony night.

RULES
Article 1.
– Application is free and no fee will be paid from festival for the screening of the selected films.

Article 2.
– The Festival will take place between 2 and 6 September 2017 in Ferizaj, Republic of Kosovo.

Article 3.
The Festival accepts short and feature films produced in the following categories:

Fiction – Short and Feature
Documentary – Short and Feature
Animation – Short and Feature
Experimental – Short

Article 4.
– Applications may be sent by institutions or individually from all the countries of the world.

Article 5.
– The Festival only accepts short films no longer than 30 minutes, and feature films no shorter than 60 minutes. Films should have been shot by during the years 2013 – 2017 in any format. Films should be sent to the Festival in minimum format of mastering quality: DVD, MPEG2, Pal copies or via online links (ex. Wetransfer, vimeo, dropbox etc).

Article 6.
– All films must have English subtitles.

Article 7.
– There will be a pre-selection process. The selected Films will be in the official competition. The directors of selected films (or producer, main actor or other representatives of the crew, but not more than 2 people) will be invited to the festival. In addition, the festival will be in charge of their housing fees, including meals.

Article 8.
– The application forms, (see Article 5) must arrive at the Festival office before the 15 July 2017. The program will be published on 5th August 2017.

Article 9.
– The application must include the following: A correct filled Admission Form, according to the Festival requirements and the hard copy or digital copy of your film.

Article 10.
– The festival organizers have the right to make the necessary changes according to festival needs.

Article 11.
-A copy will be kept by the Festival for archival purposes after the Festival.

Article 12.
– By applying at “FERFILM FESTIVAL” you accept the above regulations.
