XIII INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF DOSQUEBRADAS -FIGS-

The XIII International Festival of Cinema of DosQuebradas -FICDOS- seeks to carry out an audiovisual production competition focused on short-term Documentary realization open worldwide under the theme "Sensitization in post-conflict and reconciliation", there will be chosen the best work to own the Charlot Prize, commemorative plaque to its winner and work team.

The screening of the official selection will take place in the municipality of DosQuebradas, Risaralda, Eje Cafetero, Colombia.

Commemorative plaque and a certification as winner (no cash).

Delivery will be made at the awards ceremony.

Rules

• What is the C.I.D ??: It is a competition of the International Film Festival of DosQuebradas with audiovisual works of short duration, open to the world in which through different stages a winner is chosen.

• What is the theme of the CIA ?: "Sensitizing in the post-conflict and reconciliation". Translating an atmosphere of internal armed conflict for more than 50 years we identify the full need to have all Colombians living in a completely different country, the cinema transforms lives, dreams, shapes projects and through it we visualize ourselves as history, justice, truth, reparation and non-repetition is our support to focus the event on the sensitization of the Post-Conflict and Reconciliation.

• What is the prize awarded by C.I.D.?:
The CHARLOT statuette, by the artist Juan Carlos García. A written certification as winner. (There will be no cash prize).

• How is the C.I.D. developed ?:

1. Opening of calls: July 6, 2018.
2. Closure of calls: August 31, 2018.
3. Publication official selection: September 10th. 2018
4. * Opinion and publication of the winner: October 6, 2018.

* The decision of the jury is unappealable, committing itself, its members, a reserve reserved on its decisions until after the official awards ceremony and closing of the Festival.

• What happens with the children who participate in the CMI ?: The shorts are part of the Charlot Foundation film to be shown in other audiovisual scenarios, which only seek the formation of audiences and are always non-profit. The authors communicate every time they are going to be exhibited.

• Participation in the Festival implies authorization to disseminate the fragments of the film presented on Colombian television channels and on the Internet.

• What characteristics should the short have to participate in the CDI ?: A duration of 1 to 30 minutes, if it is in a language other than Spanish to be subtitled. Format to be read on DVD. Year of completion: from 2013 to date.

• How are the works sent to the C.I.D.?: In physical and online

• Fill out the work registration form and accept the legal terms on the website www.ficdos.com -button contest-

• Send two copies of the work in DVD High Quality, in box and marked additional. They must include the official trailer, two frames of the work and the photograph of the director (800 × 600), if you have printed or digital advertising material included in the shipping package *.

* The shipment was made by courier (declaring NON-COMMERCIAL VALUE), less than 12 euros, 10 dollars or 20,000 pesos by the direction of the Charlot Foundation and marks as follows:
