International Poetry Film Festival dedicated to all genres of poetry film: experimentals, schrift films, animations and essay films. Side program with international films, performances & lectures. The festival will take place bi-annually alternating to the German Poetry Film Festival ZEBRA. (Berlin/Münster).

2 Poetry film short competitions
- AWARD GERMAN SPEAKING COUNTRIES
- SPECIAL AWARD after a given festival poem from Rainer Maria Rilke
The main competition "GERMAN SPEAKING COUNTRIES is dedicated to Swiss, German or Austrian directors or co-directors, either by residency or nationality. German language is wanted, but not required.
- The main competition " GERMAN SPEAKING COUNTRIES" is a short film competition (1-20 min.)
- Literary feature films are accepted from German speaking countries only. They will be screened in the side program of the festival out of competition.
-The second poetry short film competition program called SPECIAL AWARD is dedicated to a given festival poem from Rainer Maria Rilke. The voice over of the poem can be downloaded under Creative Commons from the festival homepage www.poetry.or.at We provide you also with a free English translation (Creative Commons). The SPECIAL AWARD ist is open for submissions from all over the world.
- All the submitted films should not have been submitted before to the festival
- The films should not be older than 10 years (2007)

This award is dedicated to film makers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The directors should either live in German speaking countries or be German or Swiss or Austrian by nationality. The competition is limited to German speaking countries. Please check carefully if you match the criteria. We are not able to refund the entry fees.
