Deadline for submissions to fourth Viddsee Juree Awards (Singapore Edition) now extended until midnight, Jul 31.

Juree Awards Singapore welcomes all genres of short films including documentary, animation, thriller or hybrid. Filmmakers, storytellers and content producers are invited to submit their short films completed after Jan 1, 2020.

This year’s Juree Awards includes a new category, the LifeSG Award, created in partnership with the Government Technology Agency (GovTech). The award hopes to uncover inspiring stories of how everyday technology plays a role in shaping and influencing Singaporeans in their key life moments from graduation to adulthood, receiving their first job offer or paycheck, experiencing parenthood, reaching retirement and beyond.

Participants stand a chance to win prizes worth more than SGD$28,000 in cash and merchandise through the following categories:

● Gold Award (1 winner)
● Silver Award (1 winner)
● LifeSG Awards (5 winners)
● Audience Choice Award (1 winner)
● Audience Choice (1 winner)

Moments Of A Singaporean Life
The Juree LifeSG Awards is searching for inspiring stories of how everyday technology plays a role in shaping and influencing Singaporeans in their key life moments from graduation to adulthood, receiving their first job offer or paycheck, experiencing parenthood, reaching retirement and beyond.


Selection Criteria & Process

We are looking for entries with strong adherence to the above theme of “Moments Of A Singaporean Life”, with consideration of the originality of concept, and overall artistic and technical quality. To qualify, entries in at least HD (720p) in resolution, with maximum 15 min in total runtime, will be preferred. After submitting your film(s), there will be an internal selection by Viddsee’s curation team, and the 5 winners will be decided by the jury panel below. The winning films of LifeSG awards may be used as marketing, advertising and promotional content for two years under the LifeSG brand by the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech).
