BASIFF2023 A SPACE FOR DIALOGUE, MEETING AND REFLECTION

Baños de Agua Santa International Film Festival reaches its second edition with the firm purpose of continuing to contribute to the exhibition, exaltation and promotion of universal cinema in all its expressions and tendencies.

We award and certify Feature Films, Documentaries and Short Films in Professional, Amateur and Student Sections, expanding the scenarios for national and international participation.

This year we will hold the First Meeting of Film Directors and Students as a space for dialogue, reflection and negotiation of projects.

The basiff managed to consolidate and activate the LOCATIONS FILMS SERVICE project to those who attend personally will carry out the location tour in our region.

CALL RULES Basiff2023

- Films from anywhere in the world, all genres, niches and types of film in all formats, call this independent cinema, low or high budget, auteur cinema and all themes, whether they are short films or feature films or documentary as animation Films whose main language is not Spanish must be subtitled in this language, otherwise they will be disqualified.

- Works from the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 may participate for the official competition before the closing date of this call.

- The festival accepts short films from 1 minute to a maximum of 20 minutes in length, free length documentaries and feature films, from 50 minutes with no maximum duration limit.

There is no exception for any category or gender.

Unfinished works will not be accepted.

-Each filmmaker, production or distribution company of the film they represent, must register their work in the corresponding category.

There are no enrollment limits.

Professionals, amateurs and students can participate under the premise of Free Creation.

(Examples: Fiction, terror, historical, animated, environmental, human rights, pets and animals, LGBT, multicultural, ethnic, COVID 19 and its prevention, Amazon, highlands and coast, migration, family and friendship, human rights, accessible destinations and inclusive, and all those themes chosen by their creators ratifying free creation).

The participation value is 15 US dollars for all categories.
