Located in Helena, Montana, the International Motion Picture Festival was created to offer the local Helena Community, along with the world an outlet for the passion of filmmaking and the excitement and creativity that Independent Film Offers.

The International Motion Picture Festival takes place every two years and brings international cultures to Helena and the world, through the art of film/animation. The International Motion Picture Festival aspires to present a wide spectrum of filmmaking, from feature films to documentaries, animation and short films, to experimental, student work, big budget films, low budget and even micro-budget projects.

(1) If selected, entrants agree and understand, that their film shall screen in either or both, our live festival event and/or our online festival event that utilizes our virtual theater platform.

(2) You may submit more than one animation/film, but only one title per entry form.

(3) Participation in the International Motion Picture Festival implies understanding and acceptance of all terms included in the rules of the festival.

(4) By entering International Motion Picture Festival you are executing a release agreement wherein you (i) accept responsibility for obtaining any and all clearances necessary to exhibit your film at the International Motion Picture Festival; (ii) indemnify and hold harmless International Motion Picture Festival, its parent company, its affiliates, and subsidiaries and any of their respective directors, officers, employees, and representatives against any claim arising out of exhibition of your film at International Motion Picture Festival.
