CHANYI Association and Hainan Crossing Space Time Culture and Art present the first edition of
CINE Film Festival, a Chinese short film screening competition.

The goal of our Association is to make the most interesting and recent Chinese artistic productions known by Italian enthusiasts.

Therefore submissions are restricted to Chinese productions, which means that submitter must be Chinese citizen and carry out his artistic activity in China.

Works of every genre and technique (fiction, documentary, animation, ...), maximum length of 15 minutes are accepted. The competition is not divided into categories.

The first edition, due to the pandemic, will take place online.

Submitted films will be selected by a qualified jury, made up by personalities from the world of culture and cinema. The jury members, at their sole discretion, will define the list of finalist and winners.

The decision of jury members will be final and accepted by all.

12 films will be selected for online screening and promoted through the Social media. Six of these films will be nominated as winners and awarded as follows:

- One first prize
- Two second prize
- Three third prize

Selections and winners will be published on the Association Website and Social media and notified via email.

Each winner will receive a downloadable certificate and a trophy.

The trophies will be sent to the address provided by submitter (within China Mainland only) at Festival expenses.

- To submit a film you must own the rights or have permission from the rights holder of all submitted material including music.

- All the Key-figures (Director, Producer/Co-Producer, main actors) of the film must be Chinese citizens and carrying out their artistic activity in China.

- Films and video of any genre (fiction, animation, documentary...) and theme are admitted.

- The language of the film must be a native language/dialect of China.

- Each film must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes including credits.

- Each film must include subtitles in English or Italian, pre-rendered on the submitted video file.

- Every author can submit up to three works.

- Submission will accepted through Festhome or by sending a downloadable link, a image of film poster and the submission form to 702075600@qq.com by June 30, 2022.

- The festival is not responsible for submission received after the deadline, for broken links or corrupted files.

- 12 films will be selected for online screening and promoted through our Social media. Six of
these films will be nominated as winner and awarded.

- No inquiries or arguments will be entertained regarding non selected films.

- Organizers reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling, notifying the participants.

- The decision of jury members will be final and accepted by all.

- Authors hereby authorize the public screening or promotional appearance of the submitted
movies or part of them (including trailer/teaser/film poster) for cultural events.

- By submitting, the authors declare to own the rights of the work, that the contents are not libelous and don’t violate the in force laws. In every case, authors relieve the Festival from every possible responsibility, costs and obligations of any kind that can follow the projection of their movies.

- The admission to the Festival implies the unconditional acceptance of this regulation.
