Charity projections of short films, where all the proceeds will be destined entirely to the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), in order to unite us with the fight against the cancer through the cinema. 5, 6 and 7 of April in cinemas Albèniz, Girona.

For this type of festival there is no award ceremony because it is a charity festival.

BASES "Curtes contra el Cancer " (Shorts Against Cancer)

All producers or filmmakers of any nationality who possess the rights to the works they present may participate.

Those works that are not in Castilian or Catalan must have subtitles in these languages.

Short films of any genre will be accepted.

The deadline to present the works will be on March 7th, 2019

The maximum duration of the work will be 15 minutes.

Each author will be able to present as many short films as he wishes.

The short films registered will opt for the first edition of "Curts contra el Cancer " 2019, a charity event in which all the proceeds are donated to the ICO (Institut Català d'Oncologia).

The short films registered will be submitted to pre-selection.

"Curtes contra el cancer " will be in person, the first dates are the 5, 6 and 7 of April 2019 in cinemas Albèniz Plaza (Gerona)

The selected short films will be able to participate in upcoming "Curts contra el Cancer " events.

The organization reserves the right to use fragments of the selected short films to 10 seconds or frames, for the elaboration of promotional audiovisual products.

The inscription is totally free and online.

All the selected short films must bring the work in DCP format to the organization for its exhibition.

Confidentiality commitment: "Curts contra el Cancer " will use the material sent for private viewing and during the festival. In no case will you use them for other purposes, or disseminate your projection by physical, electronic or virtual means outside the events of the circuit.

Viewing commitment: "Curts contra el cancer " is committed to the viewing of all the works sent.

Communication commitment: "Curtes contra el cancer " is committed to communicating the selection result to both selected and unselected short films.

Acceptance of the bases: participation in "Curtes contra el cancer " Through this registration form implies the acceptance of all the sections of these bases, and with it, the authors, for free, the right to exhibit their works, as well as The resolution of any problem not foreseen in the same.
