BASES FOR E-FESTIVAL 2016

Please, read carefully the following bases


CALL TO PARTICIPATE IN E-FESTIVAL SECTIONS

The organization of the festival presents the call to participate in the official sections of the first edition.


To participate:


1. Entries must be sent to the festival through distribution platforms proposed by the organization. Sending films or shorts in physical format (DVD, BluRay) will not be accepted, can only participate films in digital format.


2. As an international festival, the competition is open to films of any nationality. Entries may be submitted in their original language, but in that case, they must be subtitled in Spanish or English for the selection process.


3. The organization of the event is responsible for choosing selected from among all films sent to each section. The organization will contact the managers of the selected works.


4. The deadline for submitting works ends on 21 July 2016. The organization reserves the right to extend the deadline if deemed necessary.


Regulation:


1. E-Festival is open to all types of audiovisual projects except children's films.


2. The festival has two competition sections for audiovisual works:

Official Section for films.
Official Short Film Section for.
Feature Films Official Section for FoundFootage.
Official Section for Documentary.
Official Section for webseries.
Official Section for Trailer.
Official Section for FreakShow.


ALL WORKS TO CHOOSE Audience Award.


3. All works whose content or subject matter are not considered children may participate in these categories. Each section will feature a prize whose winner will be chosen by a jury of specialists in this genre. The jury's decision is final and also reserves the possibility of granting a special mention to a work of each category if it thinks fit.

Feature film productions from 2013 and having more than 60 minutes may participate in this section.

SHORT FILMS: productions from 2013 and have less than 59 minutes duration may participate in this section.

TRAILERS: productions from 2013 and with less than 4 minutes may participate in this section.

FREAK SHOW: productions from the year 2013 can participate in this section.


4. The producers or distributors of selected films will receive the entry form. Film makers undertake to fill and submit this form within 30 days of the start of the festival.


5. Officials of the selected films can facilitate the organization of the festival publicity material: pictures, posters, press kit, trailer, etc., so that they can promote the work ahead of press and media. The festival reserves the right not to return these materials.


6. The author or owner will maintain its intellectual rights and shall be competent so that the works submitted are not subject to any liability as there are no third party rights.


7. The organization reserves the right to change the prizes. Any changes or modifications to these amounts, due to the economic climate, be made public through the festival website and communicated
directly to participants.


8. The registration implies acceptance of the regulations. Any issue not covered in this will be resolved by the festival organizers.
