The animation festival Nochedemonos founded in 2006, is a benchmark for academic and professional community of national animation.

In this issue we celebrate 13 years, spreading the Latin American animation for the rest of the world.

During his nine versions they have made national contest, Latin American competitions, student, tributes to outstanding animation leaders, talks of national and international guests and workshops for students and animation enthusiasts. This version will have two categories in competition, competition monometrajes Latin American (animation shortfilm till 1 minute) and Latin American university competition of animated short films.

13th FESTIVAL ANIMATION NOCHEDEMONOS 2019


1. OBJECTIVE:

Offer students of animation and Chilean and Latin American filmmakers, a meeting space, distribution and exhibition of animation works.


2. DATE OF THE EVENT:

November, 13th, 14h and 15th, 2019.


3. PLACE:

Teatro El Zocalo University of the Americas, located in av. Antonio Varas 880, Providencia, Santiago de Chile.


4. COMPETITION CONTEST:

A. Competition University of Latin American Short Film Animation.

Latin American official selection of short films in any animation technique with maximum duration of 30 minutes. Aimed at students and students in the process of certification of Universities and Institutes professionals in the region.

B. Latin American Competition of Monometrajes

Official selection of short films in any animation technique 1 minute.

C. National Workshop animated GIF.

Development-oriented production and exhibition of animated sequences or moving photomontage, made in any technique workshop. You will be advised on the website promptly how to participate.


5. PRIZES:

A. Competition University of Latin American Short Film Animation.

a commemorative plaque will be awarded and will award the first and second of the University Latin American Short Film Competition Animation.

Festival Special Prize
There will also be a prize for the best short UDLA.

B. Competition Latinoamericana de Monometrajes.

A commemorative plaque will be awarded and will award the first and second in the Latin American competition monometrajes.


6. GENERAL APPLICATION:

a) works that have not competed in previous versions of Animation Festival Night Monkeys can participate.

b) All works received will go through a screening stage to perform ANIMACHI, and Production Association of Professional Animation.

c) received material may be used by the Festival Animation Nochedemonos and audiovisual heritage file, which can be used for promotional purposes nonprofit samples, forums, festivals and traveling exhibitions.


7. REGISTRATION:

For the registration of works at the University Animated Short Film Competition will be held online form, which must be attached registration form and the link to download the work from VIMEO and password. other deliveries will not be accepted.

The registration form and a link to download VIMEO the work will be received until November, 2nd, 2018.


8. RESULTS:

The selection of works for the competition will be informed on the official website.


9. JURY:

It shall consist of a representative of Animachi, the first Chilean Oscar winner and prominent international guest.

By registering the participant accepts the rules of this festival.
