The Festival Drone Buenos Aires is a contest that exhibits films made with aerial cinematography technique, in front of industry professionals, the drones community and the public in general

(a) award for Best Video of the festival consisting of the sum of $30,000 (thirty thousand Argentine pesos).

(b) Awards by Category: Best Video Landscape-Architecture, Best Documentary video-news; Best Video sports, best video narrative, best Dronie, Best showreel, Best Special video, Best regional video.

In this edition of the festival they will be able to compete for the best Video award of the festival only Argentine filmmakers.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. CALL

The Drone Buenos Aires Festival, organized by Atómica Producciones S.A, invites you to participate in its first edition to be held on November 9 and 10 in the City of Buenos Aires, where videos made with Drone filming technology will be exhibited and will compete.
Filmmakers from Latin America will be able to participate.

The aim of the festival is to promote audiovisual production with Drone technology as a means of expression and communication.
The registration deadline is September 29, 2017.


2. REGISTRATION


2.1. Registration is free

2.2. Films fall in one of the following categories

a) Landscape / Architecture
b) Documentary - News
c) Sports
d) Narrative
e) Dronie
f) Showreel
g) Special


2.3. Film lmaximun lenght is 5 (five) minutes and at least 50% of their content has to be filmed with Drone technology. For the "Dronie" category maximun lenght is one (1) minute duration and for the "Showreel" category, film maximun lenght is three (3) minutes.

2.4. The uploaded file must guarantee quality and readability in image and audio, otherwise the material will be automatically disqualified.

2.5. Participating in the Festival, the director declares to own all the intellectual property rights over the content of the videos presented.

2.6. Registration is done through the platform https://festhome.com (the platform has a minimum cost outside the organization of the festival)

Through this platform the film is delivered in digital file format with .mov or .mp4 extension, 1920 x 1080 , H264 codec, without watermarks. Applicants must attach 3 (three) images (JPG format, minimum quality 300 dpi), synopsis and crew list.

2.7. The filmmakers authorize the Festival use the video for promotional purposes.

2.8. The deadline for entries and registration forms is Friday, September 29, 2017. Material received after the closing date will not be considered.

2.9. Films that do not respect or comply with these terms and conditions will not be registered. The organizer reserves the right to resolve at its discretion, and without appeal, any situation not provided for in these regulations.

3. SELECTION

3.1. A pre-selection committee appointed by the Festival organization selects the films for the competitive exhibitions

3.2. Filmmakers authorize the use of the videos at Festival exhibitions, shows, programs and itinerary cycles; Non-profit activities which only respond to the promotion of the activity


4. AWARDS

4.1. The Festival designates an Award Jury that decides awards and special mentions.

4.2. The Jury’s desition is final

4.3. The organization of the Festival will resolve any unforeseen events.

4.4. The jury will award;
a) Award for the Best Video of the Festival that consists of the sum of $ 30,000 (thirty thousand Argentine pesos)
b) Category Awards: Best Landscape / Architecture Video, Best Documentary / News
Video, Best Sports Video, Best Narrative Video, Best Dronie, Best Showreel Video, Best Special Video, Best Region Video


4.5. Awards by Category may be deserted
