The purpose of this Festival is to promote the culture and the Argentine film production made by students, from secondary schools, universities and film schools.

1- NATIONAL INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL REALIZARTE
The purpose of this Festival is to promote the culture and the Argentine film production made by students, both from secondary schools or from film universities.

2. - DATE OF THE COMPETITION:
It will take place during the month of November 2018.

3. - PLACE:
Capital Federal

4. - CATEGORIES OF THE CONTEST:
_ University short film: Official competition for short films of any kind made by film schools and universities, with a maximum duration of 15 minutes including credits.
_ Short film of secondary schools: Competition for short films of any kind that are made by secondary schools, with a maximum duration of 15 minutes including credits.
_ Micro-stories: Competition for works of maximum duration of 2 minutes including credits. Participation for high school students, film school and universities.

5. - GENERAL CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
a) Works completed within the period January 2015 to 2018 inclusive may participate. Of the works sent there will be a preselection.
b) Registration for the festival will be done through the facebook page of the festival (Festival Realizarte) or through the platforms Festhome, there you will be able to fill out the corresponding registration form.

c) All works, whether or not selected, will not be returned and will become part of the Festival's Video Library, where these resources will be administered for the performance of special functions and traveling exhibitions in national or international fields that are interested in the material and its exhibition, such as special samples of the national film festival Luz del Desierto. The author of the work can not make any claim or demand compensation for the use of the same by the festival. In the case of projection, prior approval of the person responsible for the work will be requested.
d) Once the work has been pre-selected, the owner must submit a copy in Hd format at its best possible quality for exhibition at the festival.
 
6. JURY
a) The jury will be composed of personalities from the audiovisual media, the arts and the national and / or international culture.
b) Persons who are directly related to the competing works will be disqualified from being part of the jury.
c) The jury's decision is unappealable

7 - PRIZES
The Festival will award the following prizes:
• Jury Prize.
• Public Award.
• Best short award or micro-story high school.
• Mention of the Jury in each category.

8. - TRANSFER OF COPIES
a) The shipping costs of the works, will be the responsibility of the registered.

9. - INSURANCE OF COPIES
a) The Festival is not responsible for the damages or losses that occurred during the transfer of the copies.
b) In case of serious damage or loss during the development of the event and while it is in the hands of the organization, it will be responsible for the replacement cost of the copy, in the same format and quality of the received copy, provided that this situation is authenticated by the interested party during the event.

10) - NON-COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
The received works that do not comply with the general conditions of participation and the pre-selection requirements will not be registered.

11) - ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS - ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS
Enrollment in the National Festival of independent film Realizarte implies the acceptance of these terms and conditions and the transfer of the rights of projection of the material presented for the purposes of the dissemination of this edition as well as of future editions from the date of material selection
Likewise, together with the signature of these terms and conditions, the owners of the work accept to assign the rights of projection and reproduction of the same for the purposes of its exhibition in the national festival, as well as for its advertising diffusion .

12) RIGHTS OF PARTICIPATING WORKS
1) The participants declare to be the only and real holders of the audiovisual works that are presented to the festival, both in case of being an author and of being a transferee of them. In case of falsehood in the affidavit, as they do not hold title to them, the responsibility for any claim by third parties will be exclusively of the participant who presents the work, without the Festival having anything to answer against third parties.
2) The participants claim to have all the rights involved in the work.
3) The participants declare to leave the Independent National Film Festival unharmed. Perform any claim regarding the ownership of the work and / or lack of authorization with respect to the rights contained therein.

The bases and conditions may be modified without prior notice.
