The company FOT EL CAMP presents its first exhibition of CAMP short films, which aims to give voice to filmmakers with a surrealist sensibility, a Dada imagery and a kitsch aesthetic. Shortfilms hooliganns, freaks, absurdists and Kafkaesques... you are welcome!

OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE 1ST EDITION OF THE CAMP SHORT FILM SHOWCASE

- Introduction:
The FOT EL CAMP company, led by Carlos Piris, Judit Oliete, and Roc Gussinyer, is organizing the 1st Edition of the CAMP Short Film Showcase, which will take place on January 26, 2027, at Can Clariana (Barcelona). The showcase aims to promote film culture among young people, give a voice to new perspectives and sensibilities, and support comedic short films.

- Short film duration:
Maximum of 20 minutes (including credits).

- Genre:
Fiction works (live-action or animation) or documentaries where comedy and the "CAMP" sensibility are the driving force. Films that utilize kitsch aesthetics, absurd humor, artificiality, bad taste, or irony.

- Limit on works:
A single director may submit a maximum of two works. This limitation does not apply to production companies or audiovisual distribution agencies, which may submit as many works as they deem appropriate.

- Selection requirements:
The selection committee will choose the short films to be included in the showcase (a non-competitive event) for screening on January 26 at Can Clariana (Barcelona). It is a mandatory requirement that filmmakers be able to attend the showcase to present their short films. - Rights and Intellectual Property
Participants guarantee that they hold all rights regarding the screening, music, script, and imagery of the submitted works, thereby absolving the organizers of any liability towards third parties. The organizers reserve the right to use excerpts or stills from the selected works (up to a maximum of one minute) to publicize and promote the festival via media outlets and social media.

- Acceptance of Rules
Submitting a short film to the festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.
